The Superfamily February 2009!! We're taking on the world!! MAJOR UPDATE 1/7

Looking at your party pictures is making me think about people's birthdays next year. I've got Nick's 25th in January, Dad's 50th is actually in July, we wont be celebrating on the day itself as we go to France a few days later but I am trying to think of something we can all do as a family in France, then Sophie's birthday is also in France, and when we go to the Smokie's we will be celebrating Dad's again. Hum decisions

oooh, yeah!! You could come up with lots of good things by then!!!

We are thinking next year Hollies will be tinkerbell and the Disney Fairies!! I am so excited she will meet them in February!

I would really like to go to Disneyland Paris!

Your dad could have a Dolly Parton party!!!:lmao: I will bring Hollie up there dressed as "Aunt Dolly" so she and Sophie can play!:rotfl2:

Okay, I really don't think we are going to change anything with our ADR's for February. If anything, it will be CR. But here are the plans as they stand right now:

Friday, Feb. 6th. Dinner at Chef Mickey's
Saturday, Feb. 7th: Dinner at Coral Reef
Sunday, Feb. 8th: breakfast at O'Hana's
Monday, Feb. 9th: breakfast at Crystal Palace
Tuesday, Feb. 10th: breakfast at Chef Mickey's

Now we might add the Wonderland Tea Party for Hollie on Tuesday!

A Tinkerbell and Fairies party would be so cute. Ah think of all the cute little fairies, it would be so adorable. I remember Sophie's first Tinkerbell outfit, she looked so darn cute in it and it fit her for years. I have noticed though that the quality and style of the Disney costumes have changed somewhat over the last few years. When we started buying them for Sophie they were always really good quality and really pretty, now they quite often seem to be very bright colors, and quite cheap looking material, its a shame :guilty:

That would be so funny, we could have the party with a 'special guest', and then Hollie turns up dressed as Dolly. I could just imagine it now, I would be on the floor :lmao:. Sophie would love it. She has been watching Dolly Parton movies recently and loves them too.

Great choices, I love all those places (well I don't love CR but its a really neat setting and the food is really good). I can't wait to read about it though as we have breakfast booked for CM but have only had dinner there before, and the same with Ohana. That is the one I am most worried about as Nick has never seen Lilo and Stitch and I have only seen it once and didn't really care for it much. However the food looks really good, the other characters look good, and we are staying in the Poly so I feel we would be fools to miss it whilst we are there. I am guessing you guys are breakfast people then :confused3

They really have gotten cheaper looking fabric with the costumes now! Its really sad!!

Oh, I will so do it!!! Hollie will come strutting in!! :lmao:

Oooh, tell me about dinner at CM! We have never had dinner there! I would love to have dinner at O'hana!!

You should do dinner at Ohana, it is so good. And the kids in there always seem to have great fun as they do the limbo, coconut races, play instruments etc. Sophie enjoyed it when we took her there a few years ago. And the food is so good :lovestruc. Chef Mickey's for dinner was probably the best buffet dinner we have had (with exception of Boma but thats quite different). They had plenty of good choices and great desserts and it was a lot of fun too.

I've noticed with the costumes lately that they have started printing pictures of the princesses on some of them too. I don't quite understand why, as surely a princess wouldn't wear something with a picture of herself on

I'm here too!! popcorn:: I'll def be back here tomorrow to hear all about your plans for February :)

The birthday party pics look so fun! And who doesn't love a flying monkey?! :lmao:

:santa: Happy Christmas Eve :santa:

I hope you have a great day and that santa comes for Hollie tonight. And if I don't get chance tomorrow I hope you have an amazing Christmas day and get everything you all wish for.

I know I have said this before but now I am saying it for real, so...

:santa: MERRY CHRISTMAS:santa:

Hope you all have a great day.

Ok all caught up over here...Hollie's bday party pics are adorable! What a great idea, you, Chad and Hollie look great. I love how you and your DH get so involved in things like that with Hollie, just seeing you guys all dressed up probably makes her that much more excited.

Your ADRs sound really good for Feb. I wanted to do CR too but now with the no diver/menu thing idk if we will. It stinks that they're stopping that!

Awww, Merry Christmas to you too! Did you have a good one?

Your trip is only a little over a month away!!! WooHoo!!!

I am so ready!!! I just wish I could make up my mind about my ADR's!!:lmao:

Whoo hooo to being caught up!

Thank you! We love getting all into her parties. It makes it so much fun!

I was disappointed they weren't doing the diver/menu at CR. But, we are still going I think. We figure Hollie will like sitting in there watching the fish.

Here are a few pictures from our Thanksgiving night Chef Mickey's meal.

There are about a hundred desserts to choose from!
Well, maybe not a full hundred, but a bunch!

The food was good. It's nice that you get plenty of what you do want and none of what you don't want!

We've only done 'Ohana for breakfast, but we're thinking about making it our kick-off dinner meal on our first night this summer.

I can't make up my mind on ADR's either. And now since I can't make them until 90 days out, I'm not in any hurry to. I know I want to eat at CP for breakfast one morning. I want to see the park empty!! I also think I want to try CM for a lunch/dinner. If we eat a late lunch then we don't have to eat dinner, just a snack. Hmm... decisions decisions.

Okay, so I put a post on the restaurant forum for the trade adr's. Hopefully I will get O'hana for dinner and if not, I still have Chef Mickey's. Which, btw, the pics that MeMom put on here........looks absolutely delicious!!!

I also went shopping yesterday after Christmas and the first place I hit was Disney store. I wanted to get some of the ornaments but the mall I went too doesn't have as much of a selection as the other mall that I go to does. So, I bought a really cute tink hoodie and pant set. I will post some pictures tomorrow. It is soooo cute!!! I also bought me a cute throw to put in my car for me. Hollie has a Ariel throw in my car so I wanted my own. It has a lot of characters on it!

Can I just say yum!!!!!! That looks so good! As long as I can find some chicken and salad, I will be happy!! lol! Oh, and the dessert will help too!:rotfl2:

I have never been this bad about making my mind up! I know I am driving Chad crazy!!!

You are so silly, O'hana or Chef Mickey.....Chef Mickey or O'hana just pick one! :rotfl: They are both great, I would have a hard time picking between the two. That's why we are going to both. ;)

MeMom the food pics of the desserts are so yummy to see. The little Mickey Oreo ones are just the cuttest.
