The Superfamily February 2009!! We're taking on the world!! MAJOR UPDATE 1/7

I've been reading about changes to ADR's, like how many days out you can make them. There's a few threads about it. They're changing things and then it goes back to 180 days. Have you heard about this?

Oh my word, no!!!! What are they doing?

They're changing systems or something like that. I did just read that they just opened it up through Feb. 25th today.

Tell your mom I said congrats on her retirement. I hope February will be great for you guys!:goodvibes

Congrats on booking your trip. I'm sure that there is some disappointment in not going in Oct, but there are lots of Octobers and not a lot of Feb with mom/grandma. :)

I actually called and they let me book my ADR's. I only did for O'hana best friends breakfast for Sunday, February 8th and for Chef Mickey's Tuesday, February 10th. I haven't done any more because I am waiting on the P&P party.

 Hurray for a February trip!

Woooo hooooo! I am really excited!:goodvibes

I am really excited about February!! I am hoping for cooler weather!

NO WAY!!!! Oh, I am so going there tomorrow!!! Thanks!!!

Okay, so right now with my planning I am kind of at a standstill. I am waiting until the P&P party dates are released before I do any more ADR's. As of right now I have:

Sunday, Feb. 8th
O'hana Best Friends Breakfast

Monday, Feb. 9th
Crystal Palace breakfast

Tuesday, Feb. 10th
Chef Mickey's

I know that I can cancel these if I need too. Although, I don't like too because I like to get the earliest possible time!

As of right now are plans are to come down on Friday, Feb. 6th. We MIGHT actually leave Thursday afternoon and just stay somewhere off property Thursday night. Then get up early Friday and take Hollie to either Universal or Seaworld. Then check in later that day.

Saturday we are going to Epcot. We might do an ADR at Akershus. I just don't know yet.

Sunday, we might use as a "lazy day" hotel day. Maybe do a little shopping, whatever.

Monday, if it's not a P&P party date, we will go to Magic Kingdom.

If Tuesday is a P&P party date, we will go to the BBB and then go to the party.

Another thing, we are thinking of taking Hollie to a character dinner. We are thinking of maybe 1900 park fare or Chef Mickey's. Who all has done dinner at these two restaurants and what did you think of them?

We really like Chef Mickey's. The character interaction has been wonderful and we enjoy the food.:thumbsup2

We've done dinner at both places. We love Chef Mickey's. This past trip we did 1900 Park Fare for the first time. I wasn't sure if my son (age 9) would like it or not since it's more of a girly place. Well, he loved it......we all did. The characters are so funny. The interaction there is fantastic. When we were talking about restaurants to eat at on the next trip everyone said we have to go back to 1900 Park Fare. And my dad, my husband and my son all voted a big YES.

You are going on my birthday! That must be lucky! ;)
I vote for 1900 park fare. We are actually booked for both and we go to Chef Mickey's every big family trip as sort of a tradition but I think I prefer the interaction and humor of 1900 park fare. More fun for girls with some cheek in them! ;)

That sounds really great!!! We got our pics with the step-sisters and step-mom last year and they were a hoot!!!! I am really thinking about the dinner at Park Fare! :goodvibes

Awww cool!!!!! I will sing happy birthday to you from down there!:goodvibes
How is the food at 1900 park fare?

 Stopping by to say hi!

Morgan has been sick all day and I'm afraid she will be up coughing all night so I'm drained too.

1900 Park Faire was always fun when I was there. So was Chef Mickey's. I am of no help! :rotfl2:

I am totally picturing your family singing happy birthday to Alysa at the restaurant. :rotfl2:

Hope you had a good Labor Day weekend. :)

Okay, Hollie had her first day of pre-k today! I cried while getting ready but then I was excited for her! Then I got teared up as we left to take her because she said she was ready to go! Here are some pics:
