The Super Mario Movie

I just watch this. It was so good. I loved it. Anyone else see it?

I think this movie has two things that will give it big success in theaters and i'll list them as follows,
1. The first animated Mario movie in history
2. Chris Pratt
The Super Mario Movie looks interesting from the previews and the animation looks like an actual Mario game that became real. So as with Nintendo making more Mario games The Super Mario Movie will be a winner in my book

We are going to see it today. I think it looks very well done and includes everything a Mario fan could hope to see.

I would like to see this too. I remember playing the game on Nintendo and still think Mario Kart is a hoot.

It was great! As a longtime fan, I loved it, and there were so many easter eggs! I knew it'd be good when they released that clip of the Mario Bros. Plumbing commercial with the Super Show theme song!

I saw it on wednesday and thought it was a fun, cute movie! If you're a fan of Mario games, then you'll definitely enjoy this. On the flip side if you are not a fan of the games or aren't super familiar with them, I don't think you will as the plot is pretty nonexistent. Very pleasantly surprised with the voice cast - they all did a great job and were WAY better than what the trailers showed.

I took the kids with a few of my son's friends on Wednesday, a mix of girls and boys ranging from 9 to 13. They all really enjoyed it. I loved the Super Show reference at the beginning which I had to explain (despite my kids actually having watched Super Show when they were really little, they just don't remember anymore). I think it is probably a repeat watch for them but once was good for me, but it was entertaining enough. I loved that Cranky Kong was in it.
