The strange things you eat

I am literally dying, reading some of these. I think the worst I did (as a kid, mind you. Not currently) was raw hot dogs.

My son is almost 18 and still won't eat a cooked hot dog.

Take a slice of bread, spread peanut butter on one side, top with chocolate chips, top the chocolate chips with mini marshmallows......toast in toaster over until marshmallows are just like you like them....for me that's a nice brown (not burnt)......MMMMMMMMMMMMM.

As kids we used to have sugar sandwiches ( bread and butter with white sugar between) and as a special treat we were given a cube of butter cut from a normal butter stick, and allowed to dip it in a little bowl of sugar....yummy. I also used to take date sandwiches to picnics with the girl guides. Funnily enough no-one used to ask to swap with me :confused3

Sandwiches made with french fries between the slices of bread are popular as are ones made with chips. Also local food outlets sell a lot of portions of french fries with grated cheese over the top ( plus ketchup, mayo and mustard).

Strong stomachs are a must with some local food combinations....anyone tried pizza dipped in batter and deep fried?

We had deep fried pizza when we were in Scotland. MMMMMMM.....going back this coming July......maybe we can have some more deep fried pizza. The place we found it at had deep fried everything....pizza, hamburgers, sausages, etc. I was amazed....

A treat our whole family eats is a quesadilla heated up with creamy peanut butter and nutella. YUM!!! Not healthy at all, but it is a treat we enjoy once in a while.

Do you mean a tortilla with creamy peanut butter and nutella? Or a cheese quesadilla then topped with PB and nutella?

If yes to the first one, that sounds yummy. If yes to the second, ick. Sorry.
