The strange things you eat

I love to put potato chips on my sandwich, hot dogs and burgers. Sour cream & onion or barbecue are the best!

At Mexican restaurants, I like to mix my rice & beans together, pour salsa over it & eat like a dip. To anybody who is from the Memphis area, you can understand when I say that Pancho's rice and beans mixed together with their hot dip, cheese dip and dressing is the best thing ever to eat with their tortilla chips! Yum!

Cheese and A1 sandwiches, ketchup on eggs, cake in a bowl with milk poured over it. Probably the weirdest family tradition is bananas with miracle whip rolled in peanuts. We only have them at Thanksgiving but they are good and we look forward to them every year.

Dipping my french fries in a mixture of ketchup and mustard.

I do that, too, and also dip hamburgers in the same mixture. That's more a matter of practicality, though...if you don't put the condiments directly on the hamburger, you don't have to deal with the tomato, etc., shooting out from between the buns when you bite into it. I HATE that.

The people at my work give me a hard time because I eat soy yogurt and berries. I don't think that is odd at all. I think it is healthy. They say it looks like wallpaper paste. I'm a wannabe tree hugger!

whenever i get meatball subs, i put blue cheese on it. everyone thinks it's gross but it's actually really good!!

and i eat sushi...people usually think that's weird lol

I love to mix tuna fish, black olives with chopped up garlic pickles, mix it all together and eat it with saltine crackers. So yummy! I also get a mad craving for water when I eat ice cream and I never understood why. I also love to dip my fries in ice cream, but I think that's fairly common because I know a lot of people who do it.

okay, not so weird is mayo on my fries and on a lot of my food. Ketchup on a lot of things including hot dogs, hate mustard on anything. Charred pineapple relish on my cheese hot dogs are great too. PB and Fluff sandwhiches. (fluff is just the insides of marshmallows in a jar) and introduced to my kids tonight --- bologna wrapped around warm mashed potatoes. tastes really good if you cook the bologna first too. I also put a little sugar in my jar spaghetti sauce and lemon juice in my pancake mix. Is that normal ?

When my other used to cook ground beef, she would make little meatballs out of raw meat and put a little bit of salt on it for each of us. tasted so good !!

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with crushed potato chips in between. Grilled cheese sandwich with fresh tomato inside

OH MY WORD!! some of these posts are making me sick reading them....LOL

My husband eats peanut butter with chili and that is gross!!!!

My dad eats bologna, bannanas, mayo on bread.

i eat ketchup on mac n cheese. and my sister eats ketchup on eggs.

and my nephew picks his nose and eats that............

My brother makes a sandwich of peanut butter and chocolate chips which he puts in the microwave to make the chocolate melt. It is quite a site! I put ketchup on pringles, no other chips, just the pringles. I've always done it and my brother too.

I dip Ruffles potato chips in mustard but they have to be Ruffles or it just doesn't taste right. I also eat french fries dipped into vinegar but that's pretty common. Ketchup on eggs was the only way I could eat eggs during my first pregnancy.

But the one thing that grosses my DH out is I dip dill pickles into mashed potatoes. MMMM, who needs a fork when you have a dill pickle. :lmao:

my mom puts sugar in her sauce, she always has

Ketchup on eggs is amazing. Ketchup on grilled cheese sammiches is even better. I actually don't really like tomatoes in anything but ketchup and my homemade red sauce. Other than that I can't stand tomatoes.

I used to love just margarine on bread, especially combined with white sugar. I love putting chips on my sammiches, and like mixing salt and vinegar chips with either sour cream and onion or the cheddar and sour cream chips. Cottage cheese goes very well with pineapple and with mandarin oranges. I put seasoned salt on almost every form of potatoes I make. I like to put slices of really sharp cheddar on top of apple slices.

Oh, when I was a kid and I would go to the salad bar at the grocery store, I would get macaroni salad, cottage cheese, pineapple, shredded cheese, and a little bit of bacon bits and mix that all up. That actually sounds really, really good right now. Reading all these weird food things has given me some incredible cravings. I might have to make DH stop at the comissary tomorrow after work.

Peanut butter and mayo sandwiches.....

Peanut butter, jelly and american cheese, toasted of course...

French fries with sour cream and bacon bits...

Just a few

My husband likes to take a Frito Scoop, squeeze that canned cheese on it, then top it will a sardine.

The other day I ate something strange. I mistook my cats medication bottle for my own. We both get our prescriptions from Target. So, after I slept off my cat's valium, I continued on with my day.

When I was a kid I would mix orange juice and blue gatorade and drink it with dinner...

Boy - I am gagging my way through this thread!

The strangest thing I eat is vanilla ice cream, with chocolate sauce and pretzels. Soooo good.

When DH was a kid his grandma fed him butter and sugar sandwiches. The whole idea turns my stomach!

The weirdest thing I do is dip my Wendy's fries into my Wendy's frosty. A meal at Wendy's is otherwise incomplete.

And I not only mind my foods touching on my plate during a meal, I will combine them all when I am taking a bite. Not too weird, but there are folks out there who find it disgusting when food touches each other.:confused3

I am one of those people! I dont like my food touching and I will make sure there is enough space between them so they dont touch. I also have methods on how I make a sandwich or a taco. I put the meat and cheese on a certain way. I used to feel so bad when DF were first dating. He would always want to fix my plate for me. I was happy he was being so sweet but I couldn't stand how he was making my tacos or sandwiches. LOL

And if it's suppose to be hot like pizza or chicken, then I can't eat it cold. I know a lot of people like them.

When I was younger all I would eat were lettuce and miracle whip sandwiches. Now I will not eat a sandwich if it has lettuce on it. LOL
