And for those of you thinking of including Faith in any future dismeets, just remember these pictures. Combine them with her raw eel diet, maybe she's not the best person to invite to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

First of all I would love to a dismeet with Faith and you Sharon. I love the hat pictures too. I can't wait for more although China was my favorite so far

Yup, Canada is pretty bad. Thank goodness it was the last country because I'd had all I could take of these 3d nutcases by the time we got there.

Hi Laura. China was pretty good but I think it just stirred their pots and set the tone for the rest of the afternoon. I'll get some more countries up pretty soon. I've got to get them up before Faith or Vik figure out I've done this and shut me down.

Laura, I will try to "cook" something up for you guys--maybe then a photopass picture in front of the castle or something. Then they could throw you all out of the park. Wouldn't that give a Flat Person a great slant on a trip report.

2 of my best frineds bought the Norwegian helmuts (2nd time today, I've used that word) Missa has the one with the braids and our friend Jeff bought the braidless ones(thank goodness) they named themselves (can't remember though). I'll have to dig up those pics. We are all going to EPCOT on Monday, I'll be sure to take some pics

Hi everyone. Thought I'd post a few more World hat pics here today.

First though, Vik had her first Disney misadventure. Before they had left for the World, Faith had warned Vik that there would probably be some sort of rude encounter during the week. And they were lucky; they got through almost 4 whole days.

After leaving China, the group heads to Germany. As they were entering Germany, they noticed that Snow White and Dopey had just come out to do character meets. Mike lets out a small whimper of pain because he knows that Vik is going to want to do it. There's no line, they had just come out, so the girls pick up the pace a bit. A family with some small children get there first and are already meeting Snow White. Vik and Faith cruise on up at the same time 2 teenagers, one in a wheelchair, roll up. The girl in the wheelchair had a broken foot; she asked if they could go ahead. Faith said fine. Well, by the time the first family finishes, the rest of the teenagers show up. It's an entire soccer team. There are 11 girls. There's also now 3 moms with them. The 9 girls crowd in with the 2 in front of Vik and Faith. Vik starts steaming. It gets worse though. The girls do not all want to take one pose with the characters. They want to do invididuals. And then groups, and then sub-groups. Then the parents decide they want to take some pictures and make some of the girls go back out again. By now the line is very long. The photopass lady is trying to tell these girls that they need to finish up. The photopass lady is no longer taking any pics; she seems annoyed too. But the mothers just keep posing the daughters as if there are not 50 people now waiting in a line. Even Snow White looked over to the line and shrugged her shoulders. Me, I was just wishing Monica was there to say something to the crowders.

Finally, one of the girls dad shows up and says that they need to finish, they are holding up the line. Cheers actually broke out. Now it's Vik and Faith's turn. Vik walks up and tells Snow White that she is so pretty. Then she feels bad and looks over at Dopey and says "oh, and you're cute too". That made Faith laugh pretty hard.

So they take their quick pics:

By this time, Mo has found a beer. He couldn't take it any longer.

The guys actually seem to be having fun now. Is it because they are not being drug into any of Faith's plans? They can just sit and relax.

The girls head into the Germany store. There is only one hat; a Tyrolian looking hat. VIk tells Faith to put it on and yodel. Faith says OK. Pause here: does anyone recall ever seeing anything German related about yodeling. Isn't that another country? Well, these two both seemed to think that yodeling is standard in Germany.

Faith puts on the hat and yodels. Vik cannot take the picture. She runs out, leaving Faith standing there in her little Tyrolean hat. She just stands there, doesn't take the hat off. She pretends to shop cuckoo clocks with that hat on her head. Vik returns, says sorry, the look and sound of Faith yodeling made her have to take an emergency bathroom break. So Faith yodels again:

Vik is bent over laughing and struggling to take the picture. She has to take 3 before she gets this gem that isn't blurry from her shaking the camera. Now it's Vik's turn to model and yodel.

She cannot look at the camera and do it with a straight face so she has to look over to the side.

They shoot out of Germany and head to Italy. They do not see the guys but Vik's in a hurry. When they get to Italy, Faith says she'll wait outside and keep an eye our for the guys while Vik goes in and finds the hats.

Vik returns and says there are no hats. They were sure there would be some gondolier hats or something but there isn't. Faith tells Vik to wait outside and she'll go look. She comes back, the guys have caught up. She and Vik head into Italy and Faith says "you're not going to like this but all they have are these stocking type caps".

Vik is now not so sure about this idea. She does not want to put on the stocking cap; she says she'll look like a pie face. Faith tells her she has to do it. Faith is a bully. So yup, here's Vik in her prized Italian stocking cap:

They leave Italy hoping that the hat choices improve. I'm just hoping they hurry up and finish this little scavenger hunt. I didn't sign up for this when I stowed away.

Here in the U.S., there's again, not much choice. Faith goes first:

Do you see me hanging upside down in the lanyard? I don't even care at this point. I'm not seeing much that interests me. Does Faith thinks she needs to hold the flag so that everyone could tell she was in USA? Like the big stupid hat isn't obvious enough? Well, Vik must have thought it was necessary because she gets the little flag too:

And what does Mike get? A funnel cake. For anyone keeping count, that's his 3rd snack since lunch.

So so far, we've had 6 countries with hats, 3 snacks, 1 German beer and 11 teenage girls. This is shaping up to be quite an afternoon.

And I'm stopping here today. I have to limit my stupid hat pictures per day and the yodeling ones were bad enough that I deserve a break before we move on towards the most embarrassing ones.

As for the line jumpers, yes I would have spoke up for you! Maybe that could be my job! People could take me on their Disney vacations to enforce line and bus etiquette! I'm glad that Faith appreciates my "tact". My mom and Dave get a little embarrassed!

And those teenage girls were much worse than all of the Brazilian tour groups encountered that week.

Oh Monica, a side business for line enforcement. Great idea. I know those private guides at the parks are expensive so this might be a good cash investment. Just make sure you get a cute uniform. It would have to be menacing to go with the job.

Yes, pictures get worse. Faith's Canada pic should be blown up and made into a poster.

Kathy, those rude teens didn't bother Faith, she raised 3 of her own (and she does hope that they acted better when out on their own but couldn't guarantee it) and Faith has also been to WDW during Pop Warner week. But Vik never had any children so she was freaked out over it.

I would be there in a heartbeat - would probably one of the best trips to DW ever but there is one thing stopping me December 6th is my girls birthday - and I know they won't let me go to DW without them
