This summer I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. To make it worse this came about two weeks after my father died.
I weighed 256 pounds.
Since then I've switched to a low carb diet, and started exercising five times a week.
I've now lost 35 pounds. My overall goal is to be under 200 pounds again, which I hope to achieve before the end of March, 2011, which is when our next trip to WDW is scheduled.
I didn't have to do anything drastic, just be mindful of what I eat, and start an excercise program (brisk walking for me).
