Oh my! So glad that things are looking better and you are home. What a scare (and right before a trip, no less). Please take care and rest up.

I hope things continue to go well with your dog sitter. We have two dogs and I absolutely hate having to kennel them (at our vet so they are well cared for but I still hate it...and it's $$$) so I can only imagine how great it will be to have a reliable sitter.

Two weeks from tonight we will be hitting the road to FLORIDA!!! Whoo Hoo! I am very glad to be home (and back at the regular mortgage paying job today, but have found replacement for my retail job this weekend). Glad it was nothing major (as the ER doc said, you aren't looking at any surgery right now...nothing like those words to put things in a little perspective!) Just wish we had a clue to what it was so we could prevent it from happening again.

Thanks I am really glad to be home (and at my regular job so I can DIS somewhat this morning, LOL!). As I mentioned above, taking time off from the retail job this weekend (only time I was on schedule) since it takes a whole lot out of me.

Things are going really well with the dog sitter. She actually came over last night. We had her walk in in with me while Dunkin was loose in the house (he has been secured in the backyard while she entered the house). He can charging at her with a little of a warning growl, until he sniffed her and got all happy to see her. I had only be home for a few hours, so he was already on high alert for watching over me. So I was vary pleased to see this reaction. The funny thing is, even though he had been keeping an eye on me from the time I got home, once I sat in the recliner later on, and she sat on the sofa, he was all over her and forgot I was there! So we are onto the next step...she has a key and she will enter the house with us in it using the key. This is the big major step. I am hoping we can actually try this on Sunday. Then we will go onto the next step of her entering with us not there.

So Matt did get me a laptop working for FB and DISsing, but he needs to get Office loaded onto it. (I have to be able to get to or recreate my spreadsheet!) Once again, I will try to update tonight!

If she did not work the vet job and the retail job...I am sure she would LOVE to travel Chicago to house sit/animal sit...she would get a huge kick out of Stevie. He would have her in stitches. And of course the dogs would LOVE her. Darn reality jobs... how come they always get in the way of our Disney plans! LOL!

So let's see...last week is not one I want to repeat any time soon...or ever
The laptop is up and running, but still have to recreate some things. I have not had the energy to do a whole lot once I get home from the mortgage paying job. So not sure how much updating I will get done here.

I will say that the dog whisper was able to come directly into the house using a key and Dunkin rushed the door, but once he saw who it was got all happy. I need to upload a picture from Sunday. Sabrina (coworker coming on the trip) and Damita (the dog whisperer) were both petting him, and the dog was snoring he was so relaxed and happy...he had his harem...life was good. So I am much more comfortable with this set up now, as the entering alone was the big test.

Oh and the big news....

We are doing the SINGLE DIGIT DANCE!!!!

I am sorry to hear that you have been ill. I do hope you are feeling better now and will continue to feel stronger each day. Pixie dust and prayers are being sent out for you.

I, totally, understand how you were thinking about how you need to kick whatever this illness is in the butt in order to be feeling your best while at WDW. We put so much time and planning into these trips that many people would not understand. Good vibes to you!
