I'm so glad I stop in on your report to catch up because I had totally forgotten about magic bands. LOL. So I checked and we still have 3 days to customize ours. I guess since our trip isn't a real trip it just slipped my mind. Thanks for the reminder!!

Great idea to start Zoe's first MK visit with the opening show. I think the show is so fun but we aren't park openers so I've only seen it in its entirety once....and the last few seconds several times.

I think you will have plenty of time for lunch at WCC its so close to MK.

So jealous of your dessert party! I've been wanting to do that for years and for some reason that ADR always gets cancelled. I was "for sure" going to try and get one this year and then they announced the price increase and I've kind of lost interest. I guess I should double check the info on when that takes effect. I just can't see spending that much.

I think you should keep your BOG lunch ADR. It's really not any more expensive than other quick services places and you have to eat, right? We finally tried lunch in February and it was soooo good.

Still love the daily gifts. That princess lip gloss pack is perfect. I want it!

I know I am late joining in your trip report. Don't get to the DISboards like I used to but you should definitely hit Flame Tree on your way out of AK. We have to eat there. The seating area behind FTBBQ is cool and relaxing. Then stroll on out and head back for a nice nap at the resort.

Fantasmic! is my favorite nighttime show. So I definitely want to see it. I am just unsure if I want to fork the money over for the reserved seating. It is a slow time of the year, and it is such a big theatre, I am not a big Italian Food fan (we had the Star Wars Dinner at H &V but could not add Sabrina onto this one so switched it to Mama Melrose), so I am seriously considering canceling this ADR. We may also wait to see Fantasmic! on Thursday when the rest of the gang is here. It all depends on if everyone thinks Zoe will be okay with it.

We couldn't get H&V for Fantasmic and ended up at Mama Melrose's. It was better than I thought it would be. Probably one of the highlight meals of the trip because we had an early ADR and could really sit and relax. We didn't have the Fantasmic! Dining Pkg and it worked out great. Definitely better than sitting over on the side.

If you get switched to H&V, please bring a ziploc baggie. For old time's sake! haha

I'm all caught up! I guess I should have read all of the way through before commenting. DON'T cancel your BOG ressie! If you have to lose something, personally I would cancel Cinderella's breakfast. It's so expensive for what you receive. BOG is really cool, especially the first time.

Definitely drop the Fantasmic! Dining pkg. Another one not really worth the extra $$, especially if you can't get H&V. Carry that ziploc baggie just in case though.

If you are still in search of shoes, consider going to a New Balance store (there are 2 in your city) - not the outlet - and get sized there. My mom has the wonkiest feet but they find the best shoes for her. They wear well. Have room for her insert, if needed. You just need to be fitted at the store, not at the outlet. I get my shoes at Fleet Feet, a good running shoe store (and we both know I am not running anywhere!) because they can properly read your stride and help you with a shoe.

She had to cancel tonight! Boo! But we will schedule at least 2xs a week until we leave to be sure.

BOOO!!! as long as she comes in smelling like bacon i am sure she and Dunkin will be Forever friends.. HA HA

sometimes occasionally 10 hours...so far this week (starts on Sunday) I am at 13 hours and work tomorrow night and Saturday during the day.

I am the SAME WAY! i had both morning shifts at job 2- i'm tired!!!

I know this has gotten a lot of mixed reviews, but I am really looking forward to this! This is the one MUST DO I had for this trip! I am very excited!

So today I got pictures from DMGeurts on a custom bag she made for me for this, my first Disney trip. As many of you probably already know, she makes these really neat bags for a lot of people who are what I refer to as Disneyaholics, and I decided I needed one if I was going to have some Disney-camouflage and carry my DSLr in style.

Usually people have their favorite character put on their bags, but that kinda poses a bit of a problem with me, since I have three favorite Disney characters. Two of them are "classic" Disney characters... Eyeore and Sora. Most people have NO idea who Sora is, but everyone knows who Eyeore is. (Sora, by the way, is the protagonist from the video game series Kindgom Hearts.) And if you know me, I am very much like Eyeore.

But recently, as most of you undoubtedly know, Disney purchased the Star Wars rights and all that goes along with them from George Lucas... officially making Yoda a Disney character. Yep, that's right, Yoda is now Disney. But going to the land of the Mouse with just a Star Wars themed bag would never do... because I have to be loyal to Eyeore too.

Wouldn't ya know it... DMGeurts delivers. Making her first ever "Man Bag," she made this, and I could not be happier to be the owner of it and I am looking forward to sporting it in Walt Disney World from May 8th through the 17th.

This was one of the first ADRs I booked once I knew who all was coming. It was one that I was concerned about being able to add on Sabrina, but had no trouble there.

TERRY'S HERRRRRRREEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! OMG! OMG! TERRRRRYYYYYY'S HEEEERRREEEE!!!! (Love you Mean it!)

You know I don't leave home without a Ziploc bag on me... just saying, you never know when you may need one! I will post our semi-final dining plans in a separate post.

I will also update on the shoe issue. I used to wear nothing but New Balance, but started getting to where they did not have enough support either. I know exactly where the one in Cool Springs is...been to it a couple of times, but need to see where the other one is.

And once all the kiddos get out of college, we need to plan a trip with everyone that was on that first trip in 2002! That is still one of my favorite memories/times in WDW! I miss E-nights! What I would give for those again! I know Disney is said to have "all started with a mouse", but my Disney experiences all started with a TERRY!!!! MISS YOU GUYS!!!

Funny thing is, I think since she came straight from work at the kennel, he smelled all those smells and was fine with her. Our Schedules are not meshing well this week, but we are working on it!

So first up, the shoes. So I spent all last Friday in the Saucony's. I do like these for tennis shoes. But I do think if I wanted to wear them more often than I will, they will need inserts. Definitely will continue to buy this brand. There do have more arch support than most shoes out there, and that is my biggest issue. The colors are growing on me too!

I got the Sketchers GoWalk3s on Friday. Let's just say that I would not spend the money on them again. I will keep this pair, because they will be a good pair of hanging in the room after a long day in the park shoe. I definitely could not wear these on a regular basis. No arch support at all...heck no support at all.

So we have had to cut some dining for financial reasons. Here are the one's on the cutting room floor....

Saturday 5/9 cancelling the Beaches and Cream (we do have this rescheduled for our last Sat) and Narcoossees
Sunday 5/10 cancelling Mama Melrose Fantasmic! Package

We had Whispering Canyon Café for dinner one night but changed it to lunch for the slightly cheaper menu and it works for our schedule.
I had a second BOG for just me Matt & Sabrina on Friday the 15th that we are cancelling.

There is one more that may end up cancelled, but as of right now, we will keep all the others. Terry, I am not a real bug fan of CRT either but a since we have a princess fanatic and no one else in our party has eaten in the castle it is a must do. I also look at is as not costing me anything more since it is prepaid.

So the dog whisperer is tentatively scheduled to come over again Thursday. Hopefully all will go good.

Now, not only did Matt get the pictures of his bag yesterday, I got s sneak peek at one of my shirts. It is a princess inspired one...can you tell who?







A few things to keep in mind...I let Theresa have pretty much total creative reign on these. I wanted to see one and be surprised by the others. So this is the one she sent me. So, I have decided that she has an inner Disney geek! One she put the hidden Mickey behind the jewel. Then she added Raja. This is going to be fun! Now I kind of wish I said to show me more!

No worries about canceling the ADRs that we are...we do have another Beaches and Cream set for the last full day there and Mo, we have a lunch ADR at BOG, so no worries there. The only ones we are cancelling that we have not done in the past and will not be doing this trip are Mama Melrose and Narcoossee's. Mama Melrose I am totally okay with...was really just doing it for the Fantasmic! package. And Narcoossees I would like to do, but the main reason for going there was to meet some friends. The menu does look good and I would like to try there one day, but we are still going to meet those friends, but we will just eat somewhere at DTD. (I did score some groupons for Earl of Sandwich yesterday!)

I had to work my retail job last night, so did not have a chance to update. The dog whisperer is coming over tonight and I have some things for the trip I am working on, so I may not get an update done tonight, but I will try!! I am also trying out new colors for here on the DIS.
