I was scared to death the first time I rode it (the anticipation, you know). It's now one of my very favorite rides and I always recommend this technique:
Ride toward the back of the log.
When you get to the top of the last drop, put your hands straight up in in the air and lean back ---- yes, you're going to look like one of those REALLY cool people in the picture.
Keep leaning back and look straight ahead at the castle (fantastically beautiful at night time) and DO NOT look down. When I look down, I feel like I'm falling. Using this technique decreases the sinking stomach feeling.
It's OK to scream!
It seems to me that it's over in 2 seconds, and I figure I can tolerate anything for 2 seconds.
