Well we make our first trip home on friday. Can anyone post some details of the treatments available at the spa. I'd like to treat my dw (oh and myself!) . Do we get entry into the spa by virtue of staying at the villas or is there a charge? Thanks in advance!

I know that if you're staying there on points, there is no fee for using Sturdy Branches.

I don't remember the spa treatments offered, but the aroma from the spa was very enticing.

My DH had 4 (yes, 4) deep tissue massages at VWL (acutaly 3 there, 1 at OKW) on our trip this past August. He loved it. He preferred the ones at VWL over the one at OKW.

Members got a 10% discount on massages at VWL from Sunday thru Wednesday.

The staff is very nice and helpful.

Do you need to call ahead of time to make reservations or can you do that once you've checked in? Is there an online list of spa treatments and the prices?

DH made reservations when we got therrrre. He got the time he wanted. I believe it was 75.00 for a 50 minute deep tissue massage. Well worth it to him!!

He had no problem making reservations all 4 times. In fact he met another guy there and convinced him to get the massage and he just walked in. He said he wished he knew of it earlier on his trip..........he got it the day of his departure!!

I believe the spa must be fabulous. While on the elevator at VWL, a woman "floated" into the elevator, saying she just finished her massage. Another lady and I looked at each other and said "I'll have what she just had!" We laughed and our kids still talk about the floating lady on the elevator. My hubby was going to make me a ressie, but we just did not have enough time left. It is top on my list for our next trip!
