The souvenir you ended up hating.

I bought mine at MK's Merchant of Venus and love it! It sits in my Disney office. If you are really serious and would like one, I will PM you with the details to order one. :thumbsup2

Can you please PM me the details? Thanks so much! :goodvibes

Test Track playset for my DS6. I've gotten so tired of picking up the pieces that I've finally started throwing them away.

Can we name non-Disney souvenirs?

My son talked me into buying this at the Norwalk Aquarium.

The annoying tiki sounds started in the middle of the night and nobody could get them to shut off. It needed a very small phillips screwdriver (impossible to find at 2 a.m.) to get the batteries out. Needless to say it's never had batteries since.

That is just hilarious. I think it fits because those of us that love the Polynesian Resort would think anything TIKI was great to have. But I think I will steer clear of this TIKI item. :rotfl:

Reminds me of the time (I was young) and played with my sister's clock radio and that night my grandparents came to visit and slept in sis's room and it went off at 2:30 in the morning -- LOUD!!!!!!!!!!! :teeth: (I didn't do it on purpose - just did something to set it and didn't know it!)

Well ... back to bad souviees ....

Glad I read this thread, I was actually looking at those cocoa mixes last trip and was upset I didn't bring any home!!

We've had a couple of keychains that my dh has bought fall to pieces, but we've been pretty lucky with everything else!!

We bought the cocoa and lemonade mixes. They were a big disappointment!

You can say that again, I was SO excited, the containers were SO SO SO cute but OMG, they were all so yucky :(

Those pewter keychains do seem to break really easily.

Wow! I'm surprised so many people have had so much trouble with the pewter keychains! I've had the pewter Eeyore one on my keys for *years* (7 or 8) and he's still hanging in there (literally, LOL!). Maybe I just got lucky? :confused3

Two kitchen intems: The salt and pepper holders shaped with little Mickey ears :confused3 I never realized how LITTLE each holds. We were constantly filling them up and it got to be a pain. The Mickey shaped ice cube trays! You simply cannot get the ice out :furious: What a waste.

the ground coffee is horrible tasting, too, but the canisters were awesome storage for my coffee for a loooooong time! :sunny:

The Mickey-head ice cube trays. They blow chunks.

You can say that again!

Anyone figure out how to get the dang ice-cubes out of the tray!?!?

When I bought my ice cube tray the CM there told me the best way to use them is to only fill up to just (if not under) the top of the Mickey shape. So far they work great for me, sometimes the ears come off but not very often. Mostly when I over fill them.

But how do you get them out???

I tried the "only fill the head" - and I tried "fill it to the rim" - both with no luck.

Im really ticked about those ice-cube trays.... :guilty:

Ive even dunked them in hot water...thats the only way I can get them out. But considering Im wasting many minutes of my life holding an ice cube tray under hot water on one side, when all I wanted was a soda with some ice in it.... it's pathetic. :teeth:

LOL! Someone gave my child a duck that is motion sensitive and talks whenever it is moved. It was missing one key feature - an off switch! So whenever you walked around (old house) it would sense the vibrations and suddenly start talking from the bottom of the toy box or whereever, waking the light-sleeping child.

I'm glad I know to avoid the cocoa and ice-cube trays!

I agree with UrsulasShadow about the refillable mugs . They were great for the trip but after a few washing everything started tasting like soap. I actually gave them to the thrift shop

I hate the ice cube trays also - but if you do it real slow and push on one cube at a time you can get them out in one piece (does not work all the time but most of the time).

I just twist the tray in opposite dirrections and turn it upside down. Sometimes you have to twist it more than once but mine just pop out. If they don't I usually push on the bottom of the one stuck. Like I said sometimes the ears break off but most of mine come out just fine. I have had mine for about 2 1/2 years.

And after reading this I am glad I didn't get the Mickey ice cube trays. I almost got them on the last trip.
