I remember the last time walking throught the parks and hearing music everywhere. I bought "Manheim meets the Mouse" (which is an excellent CD) but not the same. Does anyone know if you can buy a CD at Disney of the stuff they play throughout the parks?

I recently bought a CD at Walmart in the toy section (they have a section in toys for kids CDs and cheap kids DVDs). It called "Walt Disney Takes You To Disneyland: A Musical Tour of the Magic Kingdom." It was $14.95 or so. There is music and Walt himself does some narration. Now granted, this is Disneyland, not WDW, but it's fantastic. I didn't tell my DH I bought it, I just put it in the CD player in the van. He listened to the first few bars and said, "What is this? It sounds like Disney." VERY perceptive husband!!!

In any case, this might do the trick for you.

Do a search for Live 365, and then you can listen to Disney music on your computer. Live 365 has some good radio stations that play music from the theme parks. They play everything from the background music that you hear in different parts of the park, to the sound tracks from some of the rides. A few weeks ago, we ate lunch listening to the audio from Spaceship Earth. We loved it!

There was a post somewhere on the boards about music round the parks that's exactly the same. I don't remember which board it was on though :confused3

Well, I guess i wasn't much help was I?? :rotfl:

I love the one on Live 365 because it has "sounds" other than music, such as the recording one hears on the Tomorrowland Transit ride. When I'm getting closer to a trip I like to have this on my computer @work and listen all day. It really makes me smile..... :teeth:

I know he has a bunch of it downloaded when it was still legal... we're talking 9 or 10 full CDs of it. The Illuminations CD is excellent. There is also an official CD of music from the parks... maybe even two at this point. I have no idea where he found that. Maybe try Amazon or something, too? E-Bay?

Someone on this board recommended "The Happiest Celebration on Earth" which is a set of 2 cd's that is the official WDW album. I bought it when we were there last week and love it. I listened to it yesterday at work and when I heard the music from Soarin' I could swear I felt myself soar and glide just like when I was on the ride!!

Thanks to all who have answered! Looking forward to gett3ing there and buying some CD's.

I bought the Official WDW Album (in cd format of course) on ebay and we are loving it. The kids are about to wear it out.
