The Sopranos final episodes (SPOILERS!!!)

Although I think the Meadow prediction is a good one, I don't think it's plausible for all this to happen in the final 60 minutes. I could be wrong though... and probably am :rotfl:

I agree with you. People were saying the "mistaken identity" from last Sunday was suppose to be Meadow, but it was a Phil look a like.

Well, here's my scenario:
Meadow (or someone in the family) will be killed and that will be the last break for Carmela who takes AJ and leaves him (Paris perhaps). Almost all of his group will have been killed and Tony ends up with his FBI buddy singing (ie Soprano) like a bird to the Feds, joins the witness protection program and becomes - Kevin Finnerty.

You might be on to something there! I guess we'll find out!

Out of all the theories I've read, this one seems like at least parts of it could be plausible. Kevin Finnerty never seemed to have a purpose and that would tie in quite nicely.

this is bothering me- come on sunday!! I wish it was a 2 hour show coming up next :cheer2: :cheer2:

I think this prediction is the closest to what actually will happen in the final episode.

FOR THOSE WHO LIKE SPOILERS: This site has some very good ones, with actual pictures of the filming. I think it's pretty reliable:

Unrelated to the Sopranos, has anyone caught the buzz for HBO's new "John from Cincinnati?"

I'm gonna stick around after the Sopranos and watch it. That's if I'm not posting away like crazy talking about the last episode with you guys!

Not really - I read through the article and the comments and the author, Alan is wrong about the Ukrainian Dad and Daughter. Alan states that its Phil's mistress and her dad, the HBO guide states that is Phil's housekeeper and her dad.
.

From what I understand, she was his mistress and the housekeeper. Maybe thats how he met her in the first place (from her being the housekeeper?) I could be wrong though. :confused3

Went to the doctor's yesterday and in the waiting room was the magazine 'The Star' dated June 11 with Jennifer Aniston on the cover.

On page 33 - there is a little artical entitled 'Is there a Sopranos Movie in the Works?

It says the Star has learned that David Chase has a big screen version of the HBO show in the works with filming to start in December so expect Tony and his crew to come rolling back minus some key figures.

Of course all the characters could come back in dream fashion or maybe Tony's life is a dream and he is really Kevin Finnerty

Either that or they're doing a prequel as opposed to a sequel.

Ive been watching repeat episodes on A&E and I have a question:

If Uncle Jun used to be in Tony's position - why is his house so crappy? Tony lives in a big beautiful home (and so does Johnny Sac for that matter) and Uncle Jun's house is little and dilapadated?

Because old school gangsters don't flaunt their wealth. They didnt have "legitimate income" back then. In my neighboorhood, all the heavy hitters live there, and you'd never know if by their houses.

Ain't that the truth. About 7 to 8 years ago in our general area, a old time mobster died. I don't remember the mobsters name, but even the radio announcer admitted that the deceased mobster lived in a very small house that would be considered a working man's or Blue collar neighborhood. They joked about what was the use of having the access to the money they got, but couldn't spend it out in the open or the IRS and the Feds would take notice. When I used to go to Oak Park, I was always fascinated to see some of the old guy's houses, like Sam Giancana's for example. Nothing special about it, except for the guy who used to live there.

I just answered on Cindy's mom post but I thought I give you some more detail.

Tony's father and Uncle Junior are from the old school and didn't flaunt it and couldn't or they would risk the Feds coming down on them.

Tony is the head or in charge of dispensing the health care benefits for all the local Unions in the NJ area. I don't know the correct term for it, but I have seen it mentioned in season one. He also is called a waste management specialist and has a office in which he never goes to, in one the landfills he has points in. He recently had to give it up though, in a deal involving Johnny Sack last season.

Of course it's all fake and just on paper to give him a W2 so he can claim income. He also owns Satriale's pork store which was given to him by his father. His father had taken it away from Mr Satriale to pay off a huge gambling debt, then after giving up the store, Mr Satriale killed himself. Tony has plenty of income to show on paper to beat any Federal indictment or Tax invasion charges. Uncle Junior never did anything like this and always lived the life of a regular working class guy.

Thanks to you and Cindy's Mom....makes alot more sense now!!

OT, I went to high school with a few of Sam's grandkids, they each had a photo of them sitting on Sinatra's lap. :thumbsup2

I go to the same church as Sam's daughter, Antoinette, the "Mafia Princess". I laugh every time I see her, because in the Lifetime movie, Susan Lucci portrayed her, so that is what people think she looks like, when in real life she looks NOTHING like Susan Lucci, She is riden very very hard, leather skin, its just funny.

Thank you for sharing that. When I drove by Giacana's former house to see it in person, I thought to myself, if those walls could only talk.:rotfl:

He was a fascinating mob figure and me being a really big fan of the Rat pack and Sinatra, I had a chance to read up on a lot of who he was and what he did. A really unique period in American history filled with a lot of colorful characters.

I worked with a guy for several years who's mom worked at a place Sam Giancana owned on the side for a while, The Villa Venice it was called. Talk about a mob owned operation and it's like it was right of an episode of the Sopranos. You probably heard about since you grew up around that area. I got to hear her stories of the place and the big names who performed there, she got to meet. The Rat pack even recorded a live album there and I have a copy of it. It was to pay off a debt owed to Giacana and Sinatra of course didn't get paid for his appearances, but was smart enough to record a live album so he got paid in the end. Here is a really interesting site below, which I frequent all the time. It has some great stories about all of them and all the old mob hangouts. Check it out.
