The Sopranos final episodes (SPOILERS!!!)

Counting tonight...4.

Im hoping for a whopper of a show tonight!!

I am too! By the looks of last week's previews, it shouldn't disappoint. Shouldn't being the operative word!

Hoping something goes down with Christopher tonight. He's a loose cannon and is coming undone real fast! We should find out who was really in bed with Tony too! Meadow? Blanca? Kelly? Poor A.J. if it is Blanca. And what a terrible thing for Tony to do, sleep with the ex-fiance of his own son. I'm hoping it was one of the strippers instead. I'd hate to see A.J. get hurt like that.

See you all at 10pm!

OMG! Why did Tony do that!

Nevermind, I know why, but still! How could anyone deliberately do that to someone? Ugh!!!!!!!

Dear Lord:scared1:

Its really spicin' up!!

First 10 minutes and Im hooked!!

"to see him die like that....practically in my arms" PRICELESS!!

Hallelujah!!! I am sorry but I never liked Christopher at all!!! It grossed me out and I found it disturbing but I am gald we don't have to listen to him anymore! Anyone notice the Shakespear symbolism? Blood on his hands and then came the rain to wash it away? Also- Tony keeps looking towards the light. Could that be a sign of things to come?

wow. what an episode. wow.

I'll have to re-watch to absorb it all.

Wow is right!

I always re-watch it a day later. I notice things I didn't pick up the first time.

Tonight's episode was great! I was initially disappointed by the manner in which Christopher died but in retrospect it makes sense. Tony had come to see Christopher as an albatross and may have also been weighing in his mind the possibility that Christopher would turn rat if the police had found drugs in his system and turned him over to the feds. Did anyone else notice the "wink" of the sun while Tony was in the desert? I felt that it may have been a reference to the beacon from the "Kevin Finnerty" episodes and a possible harbinger of Tony's impending doom. I am excited about the last three episodes!
I just noticed the reference to the "light" by Mouse House Mama after I posted.

when i saw tony keep looking to the light and then the sun blinking at the end it also reminded me of the "kevin finnerty" episodes. i guess there were many reasons why tony suffocated christopher, maybe not just one. who knows? 3 episodes left!

There was a time when I really liked Tony, not anymore. He really is a monster. :sad2:

Wow what an episode!!!  Only 3 to go and it as always is beyond good. Best acting all the way over any thing else on T.V. Well I certainly never thought Christopher would end up dead that way. What a shock! And the symbolism. Notice they always keep showing Tony waking up in bed and looking up? Me thinks that is were the end is going to be. Something where he is looking up. Jail? Or death? Its just odd now in every episode. And talk about Shakespeare, yes, and Fellini. Boy will I miss this show. Bravo.

That's one of the reasons why this show is so good. If you think about it, most of the main characters are monsters in their own way and have done terrible things to their fellow human beings. The fact is that this show almost makes you feel sorry for them when bad things happen to them, but in reality they really deserve it. I was glad to see Christopher get his due and before I started feeling sorry for him, I had to stop and think about how many people he has killed over the years. That senseless killing of Tim Daley's character last week just showed how evil Christopher really was.
He ruined many lives and was responsible for Adriana death. He was the one who called Tony to tell him the news about her and only did that because he didn't want to live a normal, no frills life. Remember when he was thinking about joining her in the Witness protection program and was at that gas station filling up his expensive car? He saw that poor family filling up their junky looking station wagon at the other pump, knew that it could be him and wanted no part of it. If he had joined her and went to the FBI like she wanted, they probably would both would be safe and alive today.

If there's a hell, he's certainly in it. It just shows anyone who gets close to Tony or has business dealings with him, ends up losing in some way. In that episode with Paulie in Miami, on the boat was proof of that and Paulie just about got killed that day. I like the dream sequence when Paulie arrives back at his condo and sees Big P cooking in his kitchen and asks Big P, Will I be standing up when my time comes? I thought that was pretty chilling and Paulie knows the score all too well. Good episode tonight.:thumbsup2

Also the part where the asbestos was dumped into the wetlands, with the ducks quacking ~ very symbolic.

WOW.... I actually read that spoiler a long time ago but didn't think it was true. I couldn't picture how they could pull that off but they did.

YES! and also did anyone else get the whole vegas trip for him? he was alone & didnt know why he was there? remember he was on a biz trip in those episodes & didnt know why he was there...i see the creators of the sopranos laying it down for tony's death.........

I just thought if something else. Death comes in threes and only 2 deaths happened so far (last night). Also- AJ seems to be having a change of heart in the way he sees things. Almost like he abhors the violence? I also think Tony is doing all these things to free himself if you will. Taking the drugs -when he was disgusted by Christopher's use- and taking the trip alone etc. I did find it really interesting the song choices that they used with Christopher. Comfortably Numb was great. Especially when they played the part that reminices about a young child and then after the crash the first thing Tony sees is the smashed carseat. Since he raised Christopher it was as if his child was killed in that instant. Nothing is the way it was before. It was very bittersweet. I am curious as to when Tony is going to go off on Christopher's mother. It's only a matter of time before he tells her off or worse.

ETA- Did you also notice the Kennedy references? The girl's name that hit the car was Kennedy and when Christopher's wife came into the funeral parlor they said she looked like Jackie Kennedy. Hmmmm.....wonder where they are going with that.....

I loved the irony in how Paulie and Chris clashed in life, and in death Chris' wake upstaged the one Paulie arranged. (I had 500 prayer cards made up!)

We knew Chris had to die, remember the blackbird when he became a 'made' man?
