the song "What a Wonderful World"

I have heard the Louis Armstrong version of it many times and have been getting the words wrong all this time!

I heard it sung slower in that MCI commercial...when the words go "And the dawn's sacred night.."

I thought it was "And the dogs say goodnight!" That's what Louie sounded like he was singing... LOL But then this ad cleared that up....I laugh so much whenever that MCI commercial is on now!

I can't be the ONLY one who had made that mistake...

I thought that old Beatle's song with the lyrics, "there's a kind of hush all over the world tonight" was actually "there's a can of fish all over the world tonight". I was singing it in the car one day and my mom nearly drove off the road laughing.

All together now...."there's a can of fish.....all over the world.....tonight!"

Stephanie!!!!! THat is NOT a Beatles song. It may be either Jerry and the Pace Makers or Herman's Hermits. Definately not the Beatles. (My DH would faint if he heard this balsphemy! (JK!!!!)

How is your little princess? And best of luck on the interview tomorrow. You know it will be a not to good all the time job, but the full time benefits will be a huge help for you and the princess.

LOL....well, there you go. I thought the Beatles were singing about a can of fish. Turns out I was wrong all arounf! LOL!!

Yep, just told my dad the same thing last night......only I figured it out a few years ago. Thought I was the only one.
