The smallest roadtrip comment turns into a BIG trip!

Hi all! I don't think I ever introduced myself on here, so my name is Mary I'm almost 22 years old and, shocking I know, but I love Disney things!

I've only been to Disneyland once when I was 9. I do remember quite a bit, but I wanna go to DisneyWORLD. I've never even been to Florida!

So, I'll get started on telling you how this all began:

A few months ago my boyfriend (Billy) and I took a day trip to Lake Geneva, WI. Beautiful place by the way. Don't travel across the country to visit, but if you happen to be in the area..

REALLY QUICK! When we got to the restaurant we were going to eat at, there was a manager at the hostess desk who saw Billy had a Chicago Blackhawks hat on, and mentioned the head coach had just left, FIFTEEN MINUTES BEFORE WE GOT THERE. We're big Blackhawks fans. So this was a big deal.

Anywho...

We were driving home and Billy says to me, "I really wanna go on a long, fun, far away vacation with you!" And from there.. it grew. We played around with the idea of Hawaii; Billy doesn't love planes, and neither do I, but I can always tough it out. Then we though California; I have family that's in San Diego, but again, that's either flying or a REALLY long roadtrip! So one of us mentioned a roadtrip to Disneyworld! (I don't remember who honestly... )

A few days later I was on the computer researching EVERYTHING possible. And it's only grown from there

Oh hey there 75 views

Now this PTR is also to help me gather my thoughts. I LOVE planning trips, but it can overwhelm me sometimes.

So I figured out photobucket (I hope) so i'm able to post this! This would be the who. My boyfriend and I will be the two going to Disney



I've been dating Billy since Dec 2010. It'll be 3 years in December!!!!!! I love him dearly We moved in together last April. But we unfortunately have to move out of our current condo and live with our parents for a few months Anyway, we love to travel. However, we've never been too far. He introduced me to camping, so we've gone to many different places. Door County, WI. Turkey Run State Park in IN. Devils Lake, WI. We've also gone to Wisconsin Dells a few times (stayed at Kalahari and Wilderness for those familiar!)

I guess I went a little off topic, so more about Billy...
He's been to WDW a couple times when he was a kid. I'll refer to him as DBF, however he's not as 'Disney' as I... I'll say to him, "I want to watch Little Mermaid!" And he'll give me this look like.. But he watches more the Pixar movies, which is fine with me!! Finding Nemo is one of my faves!

Billy's Faves.
Disney character/movie: He's getting back to me on that one! But if I were to guess..I know he loves Winnie the Pooh Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Lilo and Stitch, The Incredibles.

My favorite Characters: Mickey and Minnie(duh), Jack Sparrow(does that count?), Simba.
Favorie movies: Lion King, 101 Dalmations, Pirates, Finding Nemo.

Hello Everyone!

So we'll talk about when we're going...

We haven't decided exactly when we're going (still haven't made reservations yet but that's because we haven't saved up quite enough money)

But my goals are either Jan 2-10 We'd be leaving Thurs (the 2nd) evening and arriving in WDW Friday the 3rd. Then we'll have Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues, Weds, Then we'll be leaving Thursday and arriving home Friday.

If we can't go that early, then our trip gets moved to Feb 3-11 and it goes the same as above... Leaving Monday, Feb 3 in the evening, arrive in WDW Tuesday the 4th, then have Weds, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun. Then leave Monday and arrive home sometime Tuesday.

Haven't planned out exactly what to do each day yet. Looking at crowd calendars and whatnot!
