I want to get a Glass Slipper at GF. Can I just make a reservation for coffee and get it or do I need a full on ADR?

We had to order it with our dinner. Call them direct and ask. Not sure of the number but someone on here would know...:thumbsup2

Why not order it for the Afternoon Tea at the GF tea room and have a coffee and the slipper there?

Yes, you'll need a reservation, the Garden View Lounge is small and is usually booked up. I have ordered the slipper dessert for my DD's birthday there, and had to call a couple days in advance to make the order.

Good luck, you'll love the tea - and the slipper is good, too!:goodvibes

I just read about the tea and it sounds wonderful. However I am going to be alone with my SN child and there is no way we can be there for 2 hours. 1 hour is pushing the time period.

What other options are available? Or is this just not going to happen?

If you are only having a coffee and slipper, you can be there 30 mins and have had plenty of time to take in the surroundings.

Two hours is the right time for one of the 'set teas' where it comes in 'courses' (3 plus tea for most popular, not including a slipper order).

In fact, you could do it in 10 mins if you really wanted to.

I have an ADR for the dinner at GF at Park Fare. Would I call dining and have it added to our ADR? Not sure how to order one. Would love to get one for DD. Hope she doesn't read this or any of her friends on here read it and tell her.

Could we go into the cafe and and not have the tea, just the slipper and quick drink? I don't want to take the ARD or pay for the tea when we don't need it. KWIM?

I think I will call the special dietary number and see if they can help with options. Thanks for the support on this tricky problem.

I am 99.99% sure that if you want to order a cake or a specialty dessert at the GF it will need to be attached to an ADR.

There is no physical bakery to go to and they do not offer pick-ups.

When you call to order it they ask for your ADR number.

The chocolate Slipper dessert is available as a special order at the Grand Floridian or at Cinderella's Castle.

This is the one from the GF:

I just moved things around and got a dinner at the Cafe. Upon looking at the menu we may just eat there!

We called the GF and ask for specialty dining, to order the slipper and Danielle was just wonderful in helping me get it ordered. The Disney dining people didn't know anything and gave me the number to the marina.:rotfl:

Thanks to everyone for helping me make this happen. I didn't think we could do this but on DS birthday we are going there and he and I will share the slipper.

I'd love to order this for DMIL for Mother's Day... we already have a reservation at 1900 Park Fare that day. Can somebody please tell me how much it costs and what number to call and order? Also, can I order it this far out or do I have to wait until closer to the trip?? :confused3

Here is what I learned in my search. Don't call Disney dining they don't know anything and gave me the number to the marina.:rotfl:

Call Danielle at 407 824-2474. You must have an ADR before you call her. They also need a credit card. The cost is $15. They need 72 hours advance notice.

I hope this helps and you all get a slipper.

Thanks MinnieVanMom!! I've been looking forever on the old cake thread and couldn't find any prices. With all the other expenses with the trip, I wanted to do something small for her for Mother's Day but yet something special and I thought she might feel like Cinderella for a day! :flower3:
