Today is a lovely day! Can't wait for the long weekend, plan on sitting at the beach for awhile.

I went to lunch with my sisters yesterday, we had a great time. Hope to do it again next week

I have no clue, haven't been to a Starbucks in a long time. I used to gain five pounds every fall from those and the pumpkin cream cheese muffins

Will you be going to WDW any time soon? Any trips to NY planned?

I wanted to go to NY over Thanksgiving because dh said he was taking the kids home to see his parents. Now he says he doesn't want to go. I will get there someday!

No trips anywhere planned. This move was super pricey! And the kids have no time off school. Hate that.

We have a reservation for 9/24 and another in December. We still don't know if we will go - waiting for a dip in airfares. We have 10 nights held for September, but would only stay 4 or 5.

We still can't decide about WDW; DH definitely wants to go in May so we might not go now or just go for 4 nights. Decisions, Decisions!

The sky is gray and there is water falling from it! We need it here, we're in an exceptional drought. We have a 50% chance through Friday. Hopefully, the rain will continue. It won't break the drought, but it will help.

I'm looking at Manhattan, the skyline has never been the same. "that" day was a beautiful clear blue sky. Today Heaven is crying.

I chickened out today and didn't go in for the service. However, tonight in Bayonne, my daughter will be participating in the service. She was asked to participate because she has been classmates with someone who lost his mom that day, way back when they were in Kindergarten. This year they're in 8th grade. Wow, time flies and yet seems to standstill on certain days, KWIM?

I tried telling the kids a little about today's importance. I think Shelbie is old enough to start understanding the gravity, the scale, and the horror. CJ just talked a little about the facts, he doesn't "get it."

Shelbie and I were in the car when the planes hit. She was only 2 at the time. I remember being scared about the world she'll be growing up in. I still am.
