The Sky is: "(fill in the blank)"

full of snowflakes. Isn't that special.

I can't take the rain and cold anymore. :headache::headache:
Today was in the 40's and windy and mostly cloudy. It's supposed to have a 50% chance of rain for the next few days. I'm so sick of carrying an umbrella everywhere.

I know what you mean!!

I had to get them out of the car and wash them, they were a little Dusty.

but It was easy to dry them, I just left them on the back patio, it was in the low 80's with a nice breezE. They were dry in about ten minutes!

hehehehhehee

RUM?

No special snowflakes here in central California either. But tonight we have wind. GP, that's not breaking wind either, just in case you were going down that path.

I have no idea what you are talking about?

the sky is beautiful once again in Central Texas, clear blue with just a few high clouds

I hear the rain from Cali is coming our way, though :sad1:

It was just snowing here -- NYC. What the heck is going on with the weather? This is crazy.

It was just SNOWING in Queens!! :scared1: WTH??? I've decided to stay in today, skipping the lunch with my sisters this week. I feel tired and achy.

Why do I get the feeling that we'll be going directly from winter to summer, with spring being obsolete? I miss the seasons, specifically spring and autumn.

We have water here. Lots of water. It rained pretty hard last night and our offices and warehouses are flooded. The overhead light fixtures are full of water, our record retention building is flooded so we have lots of soggy paper, and I have no idea how many of my staff's computers are ruined-we have not got that far yet. Our company has 10 buildings so we are in crisis mode this morning.

And what am I doing to help? I'm on the dis. I'm a great leader.

Was it that woman and her kids that caused the flood?! :scared1: ;)

Sorry to hear you're having such a rough go of it. I'll stop complaining about a few snowflakes. You've obviously got bigger problems.

I think you have your priorities just right! :thumbsup2

But seriously, sorry about all the flooding :scared1:

Sorry to hear that Pakey!!
Do you have a disaster planner on your team?? If you have soaked books, the quicker to get them in a deep freeze the better. That will keep them from swelling any more than they are. They can be freeze dried. If they aren't too bad, fans will help. For loose papers it could be a bit trickier. Drying between wax paper will prevent them from sticking...Large quantities could be quite the challenge. If the computers were off when they got wet, let them off and give them plenty of time to dry out. They could survive. But if they were on or turned on, they are likely fried. Just be careful and watch out for wet electrical items.... Good luck!

And being on the Dis during a crisis will give you the "fearless leader" look and give others a sense of calm. Can you tell I have rationalized that myself???

It's blue here too. Which only happens after the rain washes the smog away for a day or two. I always feel like I'm in a Sci Fi movie when I'm able to go outside and see blue sky.

Julie, love the attitude regading the fearless leader. Yep, that's me. Calmly dissing away while the world floats by.

I fell off the bed last night and now my neck hurts and I have a big bruise on my arm :sad2::sad2:
