It's baaaaaaaaack! So who watched tonight? A really talented lineup but I must admit I miss the "'Bubs". Not sure who I'm pulling for yet but the Whiffenpoofs were all kinds of hilarious, and I really enjoyed the guys doing Lady Gaga.

The one kid in Eleventh Hour reminded me so much of Kurt from Glee, and his name WAS Kurt!

I watched. I loved the Oregon guys (the Lady Gaga ones). Actually, they all amaze me because I can't sing at all!

Didn't Pitch Slapped get eliminated? I do not think they deserved it.

BTW, speaking of acapella groups -- I recommend "Straight No Chaser". You can find them on Amazon.

I like this show and thought all of the groups were good. The only judges comments that I didn't get were the ones for the group from LA dressed in blue. I think their name was Backbeats. They just were average to me but the judges were all over the top with their praise. I also thought that it was a little strange that they recruited members from one of last year's teams. I don't guess there are any rules but it just seemed odd.

Overall I liked Commited, Street Corner Symphony and Eleventh Hour. The group of older men, Jerry Lawson and Talk of the Town were also good but I wonder if they will be as versatile as the other groups. I was also surprised when they eliminated Pitch Slapped. Maybe they didn't have enough energy.

I love the Straight no Chaser 12 days of Christmas song! It's a classic!

I loved the Whiffenpoofs, well I hate thier name, but it may have been because I love the song "Grace Kelly".

I also kinda liked On the Rocks.

I thought they were eliminated because they came from the "elite" school of music. Is that the right group?

They were not my favorite anyways.

I did like the Lady Gaga group but I thought the group from Nashville was the best.

Is it just me, or is this fawning all over Jerry Lawson and Talk of the Town a little much? Their performances are very "old school" which is not bad, however, they aren't really going out of their comfort zone. ("Mercy" was a throwback song, very much their "genre.")

I totally agree. Their sound is nice, but it all sounds the same. I thought tonight was suposed to be rock night. Their songs were technically rock tunes, but they weren't arranged like rock songs.

Ben Folds was terrible!!! But I'm glad Committed won although I would have liked the BackBeats to have won also. Super glad that Jerry and his group got kicked out. They were so overrated.
