OK, so this report is officially doomed. I wanted to put a few thingies in here that would have been worth adding, since there were a few high points I really wanted to get to. For instance some character breakfasts had great moments (I got Alice to write, "I took the red pill" in our notebook), and a few other things that will just have to be dropped. Maybe we can work some funnier bits in as flashbacks or something.
So now I just need to make myself ramp up on starting the new TR. It was a great trip, and there are a few things in there that will make for a good start, so I just need to batten down the hatches. Since we had Ryan with us there was a lot of different fun. We like Ryan, he's smart and funny, even if he has that college kid cynicism. I used to be like that too, so I can't be too hard on that. Anyway, since we have carploads of pics on flickr already, the illustration part should be easy. There were many running jokes, especially quotes from "Elf" ("you sit on a throne of lies!"), and robot jokes that I need to write down before I forget them. Also there was the point where the lady in Norway looked at us like with a very harsh scowl that can be seen here:
