The Silly and Mischievous Adventures of Four Crazy Canucks - FINAL THOUGHTS 2/1

Ugh I hate calling it Hollywood studios. It will always be MGM to me. :confused3

I didn't hear that about TSM with the 2 hour wait?! Thanks for the heads up. I just realized that when I go down in November it will be super soap weekend. Ugh and of course I planned MGM for Saturday. I have a feeling the park will be super crowded.

Did you decide if you are doing Sci-fi? I would skip it and save the money since it is a budget trip. It's a cute place but don't think it would be worth the money sometimes counter service is just as good.

Getting close now! :goodvibes

The Plan: Day Three

Our second full day in the parks, we are all looking forward to this day as we LOVE Animal Kingdom. Erich is especially looking forward to this day as we have an early morning breakfast ADR at Tusker House for Donald's Safari Breakfast. That boy loves him some breakfast food and combine that with some fun character interaction and he is in heaven. This is the one ADR we are for sure going to keep for the trip; the rest are up in the air and will all depend on if we feel like a big meal and if we feel like spending the money. ;) Since this is such a short trip we are not being too picky about eating counter service most of the time.

Hopefully we will finish up our breakfast with Donald before rope drop so we can make the mad dash to Kilimanjaro Safaris and beat the crowds. After that Alek and I will get fastpasses for Expedition Everest. We will use Mom and Erich's tickets to get fast passes as well so that we can ride twice. I guess that is the one positive thing about having ride chickens in the family, more fastpasses for me and Alek!

We plan on spending the whole day in the park, this won't be difficult since it closes at 6pm. We feel like we missed a lot last year due to the weather and general tiredness when we visited so we hope to make up for that this time around. Here are some must-do's for the day:

Expedition Everest
Kilimanjaro Safari
Festival of the Lion King
Dinosaur
The animal trails which we completely missed last time
Character Meet and Greets

Since the park closes early we have an open evening this day. We are not making set plans but these are some of the options we are considering:

Dinner and evening at Downtown Disney
Mini-golf at Fantasia Gardens
Relax poolside at the hotel
Visit some of the resorts and have dinner
Dinner off-property

We won't decide on what to do until that day probably

Some pictures from last year's visit to Animal Kingdom

Yeah, reports are that the lines for this ride are super crazy, Soarin crazy, so make sure to ride it first thing or at least grab a fastpass right away. From all the reports and pictures I have seen it is not to be missed!

No, haven't decided, if we feel like it the day of we might try and get a reservation otherwise we are totally fine with eating counter service. Truthfully on our last trip we were pretty much always pleased with the quality and value of the counter service whereas the table service restaurants disappointed more often. We may even go off-property to eat if we decide to take an afternoon break or eat at the hotel. Who knows, it is vacation so we will just go with the flow! :cutie:

Have fun at Tusker House! :cool1: :cool1:

Here is the positive vibe for the day~ It will be a great day, the sun will be partially exposed, the humidity low. There will be no rain clouds looming over you.

You will have a great day!:thumbsup2

Forgot to ask this in my main update: At a buffet like Tusker House, are your beverages(juice, milk, etc) included in the price of the buffet or are you paying for them separately? We don't usually eat at buffets and last year we were on the dining plan so I didn't really pay attention. I just wanted to know for budgeting purposes.
