Yay, we're back already!!

I've never been able to get a good picture of that sign, but I will this time. Since we're driving I'm going to make Don pull over if I have too!

The Driver - Good old what'shisname made a point to tell everyone to take a picture and he slowed down and everything.

They are neat and a bit unexpected. they are not in a real goood area- far from any gate but if you have time and can snag one it is great.

Rocking chairs are the coolest addition I can think of in an airport. Especially if they place them right next to a place you can watch the guys with the red batons- I have a secret fantasy to be one of those- seems like they wield such cool "sticks of power"!

Ohhhhhh I like the wands the Disney CM's use to direct people around the chaos of the parade. In fact, for our more crowded swim meets I acquired a blinky wand. I left it at my old faciltiy when I moved. I should have swiped it.

The rocking chairs are in main part of our concourse near the big food court and the grand piano. Our local news did a spot on 2 luggage handlers who would come up and play and they got a record deal 'cause they were so good.

I usually do. It was one of the things I remember from my childhood ( yes the had hot dogs back then) Love me some Nathan's hot dogs - even if they dont always love me back, or love me too much.


Somehow I remember my dad never letting me get fries. So as an adult I ALWAYS get fries.

I love these suitcases. I wish the airlines would just allow us to use these with no extra fees.

I POP off the bus, thanked Joe for getting us there safely and raced inside. I used online check in so I was helped quickly.
I was given room

My room was ready so I walked over. This was by far the best room I have had to date.

I drop my stuff and get my park bag out and head back out. I am wearing my croc sandals and carrying the small camera with the crappy zoom. Why am I telling you this? You will find out.

I begin to walk back to the stairs right behind this.

It really made a BIG difference in the atmosphere of the resort having all of this brightness and activity boarded up. We weren't there much except for to sleep, and we enjoyed the Bowling Pin Pool, but walking out and not seeing this definitely was different.

Hmmmm.. whichever had the first bus arrive.

It is about 2pm. I am on the bus with a girl with a couple and their baby . No this is not the beginning of a joke but hang on to that bit of info.
With a stop at Blizzard beach we arrive at AK 24 minutes later.

Oh no, the tour groups I would have the pleasure of sharing my vacation with.

I hope someday this turns back into some kind of transportation.

10 minutes later I finally see this.

I have really grown to love POP. There are so many "little" things in all the theming. Next trip take a special trip for some tye dye cheesecake and look around.

Great pictures at POP, Pat. Do you know...we've never been there (except to drop someone off at the front door). And you got some great shots of the AK. I too wish that one area would be a boat ride of some sort again. I NEVER knew that bar was there; I will definitely have to remedy that in September.

Ahhhhh Pop! And Animal Kingdom! Seems like we were in Room 4442 on our first trip. Or maybe I'm just thinking that was our room number. LOL I know it was in the 60's and it was a preferred room. That building is a great location!

I don't recognize any of the drinks on the pool bar menu. It must have changed since then. The Lost in Safari is a yummy drink!
