Can anyone tell me of a rough schedule of this shuttle bus?

I am staying at Universal onsite (Royal Pacific), but I want to do Busch Gardens for a day. I don't know which day yet but it will be a weekday.

So I know I need to take the free shuttle from Universal to SeaWorld, and then catch another shuttle from SW to BGT.

BUT I would like to be at BGT as early as possible (rope drop?) so when is the first shuttle timetabled to leave SW?

Any help appreciated. :)

Pick up time looks like its 9.15am (as per seaworld website) arriving as late as 11.30am

11.30? That's horrible. The park will already have been open for 2 hours by then! The line for Cheetah Hunt will be incredible by then too. :sad1:

Can't believe there isn't a shuttle earlier than that, but that's the way it is!

Why wasn't Busch Gardens built in Orlando like the rest of them... ;)

We stayed at the PBH last October and was told by the concierge that there was a bus that left in the morning at 8 am from the parking garage at the parks. You did need to reserve the night before and the cost was $10 a person.
We didn't end up going so I can't tell you the time the bus arrived at BG.
Maybe you could check at your hotel to see if they stil run this route.

here is a website to check out that gives all pick up locations http://www.orlandoescape.com/buschgardens/shuttletransportation.htm

Thanks for that website, it was very helpful.

So the Orlando-Tampa BGT shuttle actually stops at Universal Orlando? That's fantastic, I didn't think it did. I thought I'd have to go to SeaWorld first off.

And 8.30am pickup time from the Universal parking lot, means getting there probably 8am. I doubt the coach(es) would be too busy until further on in the route.

But the bus leaves at 6pm, that's quite a shame actually. On some days, the park doesn't even close until 9pm. :confused3 Oh well, I will get 7 hours max in Busch Gardens, which I suppose is all I can expect seeing as I don't have a car.

We got the BG bus from Universal two times in the last couple of weeks - it does leave at 8:30am and the first time we got there for 10:00am. This was because the bus filled up at Universal and we set off for BGT straight away. The second trip the bus was only 3/4 full at Universal so we went to the nest stop off to pick up (The Crab House - I-Ride trolly stop 17) before heading off to BGT. We arrived at 10:30am on this trip. I assume the buses keep going to each stop until they are full - the last one being Seaworld at 9:00 - 9:15 - just depends how busy it is that day as to how many stops they make.

When you get off the bus at BGT you need to get a return bus ticket either from guest services or sometimes they hand them out as you get off the bus (which is much quicker & easier). Return time is 6:00pm - although everytime we've been to BGT some idiot can't make it back to the bus in time and they tend to wait until 6:15pm before leaving people behind.

If you did want to stay later in the park you could stay overnight and then go back on the bus the following day. There is a waterpark you could go to - or we can easily spend two days at BGT.

Depending on what ticket you have the round trip will be free or $10.
