I have always loved Regis!! I just had to turn it off this morning because I thought Boomer Eisison was a pompous jerk! It's like cohosting is beneath him! I have seen her with Anderson Cooper, Andy Cohen, Michael Buble and Neil Patrick Harris and they have all been great. Even Carl Edwards was good yesterday. He was so excited to be there and very gracious. I hope see gets a regular cohost soon. Oh I also enjoy it when her husband Mark consuelos is on as well!

I thought Boomer was awful. I thought it was just me but he was a jerk. The way he talked to Kelly was kind of rude. I thought the host yesterday, the Nascar Driver was very nice. I love her and Mark they are the best together.

I wonder if ABC squashed any videos posted, claiming copyright infringement, because they didn't want people seeing Boomer being so icky to the gals.

I like Josh and NPH. Unfortunately NPH has a career and doesn't need a morning show. Josh also has a huge career, how would he do it full time?

I read somewhere that apparently the producers LOVED her chemistry with Rob Lowe and were going to approach him with the offer...but that's only rumor. And highly unlikely he would take the gig. I liked the racecar driver too!

Maybe the show should have guest hosts for 3 month runs. Like how stars come to do Broadway shows for a limited run. Snag NPH during his hiatus from his TV show. Rob Lowe has a history of not sticking around for a long time on a show. So that would work. Josh could schedule 3 months without touring.

I don't watch the show regularly, maybe a couple times a month or so. I never liked Regis, so was glad when he finally retired although I did enjoy the show on his last day.

I like Anderson Cooper as a co-host, and the other day they had Jim Parsons (Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory) and I enjoyed him too. I am not a fan of Neil Patrick Harris (hate How I Met Your Mother).

I wish they'd just decide on one full time.

Anderson Cooper and Pat Sajak (!!!) do the best job filling in. Neither of them could do it on a regular basis though.

I was really surprised at how well Michael Strahan (former NY Giants football player) did. He handled the guests and Kelly pretty easily. I really don't like Andy Cohen and Cameron Matheson gets on my nerves occasionally, but I can see him getting the job to keep him in the ABC family. (I know Live is syndicated, but it shoots in the ABC building).

I wish they'd have the few prospective co-hosts actually host for a week or so, so we could get a feel for the chemistry between them and Kelly. We have taped Regis & Kelly for years, but I told my DH if Mario Lopez gets hired as her co-host, I will never tape the show again. I'll start watching Anderson Cooper instead - who I had hoped would be Regis' successor.

I agree with almost everyone here about the guest hosting. I LOVED Regis. I've hardly watched any of the shows since Regis left, and I even LOVE Kelly (ever since she first showed up in Pine Valley on AMC!).

But I'm just not interested in watching a bunch of different fill-ins. I record the show every day, but I don't always watch. And even less now that Regis is gone, although I did watch Jim Parsons the other day.

Rest assured that I'll be going back to see how bad Boomer Eisiason was today, though . I know he's some kind of sports guy, but he could come to my front door this second and I would have no clue who he was or that he was even famous.

Anderson Cooper and Pat Sajak (!!!) do the best job filling in.

Pat Sajak, Anderson Cooper, and Neil Patrick Harris have been my top picks since before Regis ever left. I don't want them to pick someone so completely different that it changes the feel/look/nature of the show. They will lose a lot of viewers if they change too much. Another cohost I kind of like is Howie Mandel, but he's a far distance behind those first three for me.

I totally agree! I find him very unappealing personality-wise.

I would love if Cameron Matheson was the new co-host. I think they'd be great together.

I always loved Regis. I was so disappointed when he left. I love Kelly also, but I do think she's having a hard time carrying the show herself. There are just some blah moments, especially during host chat.

It's just not the same without Reege! He was a great storyteller & ran in circles with some pretty famous & well to do people. I loved listening to him tell his stories.

I like Mark, but I don't think him & Kelly are great on the show together for some reason. They seem to falter at times.

I have enjoyed Neil Patrick Harris & think he'd make a good co-host, but I don't think he'd take the job because of the sitcom he is currently in.

He's from NYC and went out to LA for AMC which was canceled as was the webseries...So, maybe they are waiting for what ever contract he is under to announce that he is coming back to be with Kelly...

What do you mean by this? Was AMC picked up in L.A.? It used to film in NYC.

Cameron left AMC years ago, went to L.A. around the same time as Josh Duhamel. Josh got Las Vegas, and Cameron ened up coming back to NY & eventually AMC, as he couldn't get hired much in L.A.

IMO, he's good looking, but has a kind of cardboard personality and not very much of an acting range. I hope not to see him as the permanent host. he does well on SMALL stints for GMA, but that's about it.

I don't care for Mark Consuelos, her hubby. I find him kind of chauvinistic and disagrees everything she says. I don't think he is the right choice.

I do like Michael Buble and Josh Groban as co-hosts, they are great with her.

AMC was in LA for a short time then it was canceled and a webseries was supposed to be picked up...that was canceled also. I think he has chemistry with Kelly and it might be a good match.
