The Sentinel With "Jack Bauer".

I saw The Sentinel today and after reading good reviews and bad reviews, I really liked it. David Breckenridge is Jack Bauer in a suit and he is HOT. Same style, take charge guy, fearless and smart. He is there to do the right thing. I made the mistake of walking into the theatre with a large coconut coffee from Dunkin Donuts. Don't do it. You can't leave this action packed movie for a second. Michael Douglas was also very appealing in the movie and I had a concern that they were going to "sacrifice" the old dude to make way for the younger one. They did and they didn't. That's all I am going to say. I liked it so much that it could have been twice as long, but hey, I think every episode of 24 should be two hours....without commerical interuption! I would like to see Sentinel 2, 3 and 4! I liked the character. It sure gives you a greater appreciation for what the Secret Service does everyday.

I went to IMDb.com and checked out the message boards on this movie. They were calling it a "rip off of 24." I haven't ever watched 24 but it sounds like you are saying the same thing. I may need to put the series on my Netflix queue

BTW, for some reason I haven't figured out yet, I giggled through the "scene" with Douglas and, um, that woman (trying to avoid spoilers). For some reason, it cracked me up.

A "rip off" of 24 is just fine with me. Definately start with season 1 of 24 and work your way up. Alec Baldwin has GOT to be sorry that he treated Kim so badly.

I got a call today from a friend who lives in Philly who knows I love "24" and he told me to go see it, said it was great and that since I was secretly in love with Jack Bauer that I would probably love it too.

Glad to read that others had the same thoughts about the movie.

Glad to hear it was good. Me and Dh are 24-aholics we just started watching this season but have already caught up watching all the past seasons finishing with season 4 last week.
