What the heck is that towel animal? Dh thinks it's a lobster.

I have no clue on the towel animal. We rarely saw our host so we couldn't ask him either.

That must have been an incredible experience to be there with the animators of Up and getting to see the movie on the ship!! WOW! I just ADORE that movie and cry everytime I see it!! I was so excited when the movie won 2 Golden Globes!!

I was so happy when it won those awards. Of course it was a no brainer that it would win.

Loved the pix of the shop windows !! A disney cruise could be in the future if I get this chaperone position!!!

What a special treat to be able to see the movie on opening day and probably one of the first to see it. Even better that there was an animator there!!!!!!

Yep, we would have been the first "general" audience to see it as I doubt many theatres do midnight showings for Pixar movies.

I loved Up...but yeah...really sad in the beginning!!!!! That was awesome how you got to see it! I would have wanted to brag, too!!!

I had suspected leading up to the cruise that they would have a midnight showing of it but it wasn't confirmed and announced to us until halfway through the cruise. I was very excited!

Yeah, an update! We didn't schedule Palo on our cruise - it was our first cruise, and we were enjoying the dining room, our servers and the company of our tablemates! I don't think we really knew about brunch, or we aren't breakfast eaters, anyway. We'll definately try Palo next time!

So cool you got to see UP on opening day! How fun to know some of the back story from the creators! Looking forward to some Serenity Bay!

Palo brunch is a must! I wouldn't really view it as breakfast though, more like lunch when you consider the seafood and all the hot entrees.

It was so neat getting to see it on the ship in 3-D and it was an extra special treat to have the animator there and to have that special intro video from the Pixar animators.

Since I am nearing the end of my report I thought I would indulge in the time honoured tradition of honouring my top posters. Let's see who the top honours go to!

Looks like Rosie is far ahead of the pack with twice as many posts as the number two poster, Jordan! Coming up close in third and fourth places are Myst and Dan!

This is not a proper update as I won't be writing much. On our last full day we were due to dock at Castaway Cay. Mom woke up nice and early that morning and took a walk around the ship. She made up a video walking tour while out and about that morning and I have loaded her videos onto Youtube to share with you all. Originally she was narrating as she walked along explaining what everything was etc but she has made me remove her audio and cover it up with music provided by Youtube. She thinks she "sounds dumb" and didn't want me to post the video with the original audio.

It was recorded on our older model point and shoot camera so at certain moments it gets rather dark because it didn't adjust well to change in lighting but for the most part you can see everything well.
