The Scent at The Dolphin Hotel

My wife is a huge "scent" person - just loves candles, incense and the like. For Christmas I got her this high tech, internet enabled "diffuser" called an Aera that supposedly filled your house instantly with these custom crafted scents (it was a home unit made by a company that has apparently been in the "scent marketing" business for quite a while, crafting very distinct custom scents for stores, hotels and the like.

Anyway, for mother's day, I picked up a new scent for the device, popped it in, and BAM. Instantly we both exclaimed "That's the Dolphin !", where we had just stayed last October for Food & Wine.

The scent we just got that we both thought was identical was described as this:

"Indigo
COOL & REFINED

Dream of...Calm Waters. An immersive retreat and a serene oasis.

Indigo is like a gentle mist of sea spray across a wooded shoreline; crisp notes enhance and brighten a floral blend of sacred lotus and magnolia; a sensuous balance of woods and oak moss provide a peaceful elegance to any room.

FRAGRANCE NOTES Citrus Cedarwood Sandalwood"

So my question is this - does anyone happen to know what the scent used in the lobby area of the Dolphin is or (possibly) who manufactures it ?

This is the only forum I would ever ask that on. Heck - once my wife wanted to sew garbage can lid table clothes for a trip to Food & Wine, and someone knew the exact model and manufacturer of the Epcot garbage cans, allowing us to measure out the tablecloths exactly.

The Walt Disney World Dolphin is a Sheraton branded hotel. (The Walt Disney World Swan is a Westin.) As such, I'd imagine they use the same scent as other Sheraton-branded hotels. An internet search didn't lead me to a specific name or manufacturer. If you don't get an answer here, you might try contacting one of the following:

Walt Disney World Dolphin via Feedback Form: http://www.swandolphin.com/feedback/comments.html

Sheraton Corporate/Marketing via Social Media: http://www.starwoodhotels.com/sheraton/connect/social.html

Sheraton Corporate via Help Form: http://www.starwoodhotels.com/sheraton/support/contact/index.html

Note: Your question wouldn't be considered odd. Starwood Hotels (with owns the Sheraton and Westin brands) has a whole page with a promo video about the scent of their St Regis branded hotels. (http://www.starwoodhotels.com/stregis/about/about-scent.html)

Thanks ! I sent off a few emails, like some obsessed fan lol. If I can figure it out, I'll follow-up post ... just in case someone else is obsessed with resort smells.

Recognizing this scent was almost as exciting as when I was at White Barn (Bath & Body Works' candle store) and found a candle that smelled just like The Boardwalk.
