Anyone watch these movies? It's a horror movie about a man named John Kramer nicknamed Jigsaw, who tests people who are ungrateful of their lifes. I think it's a great series. Saw IV and V wern't as great but VI redemed it. I also go on a board for it called House of Jigsaw.

I'm A huge SAW fan,got all the movies.I think VI should be the end tho.It ran its coarse..

hmm.

spam thread?

who the hell doesnt know about this series?

The first two were great. The rest have been a major disappointment...

I love a good horror flick, and I do like the pretense of these films, HOWEVER, these are the most disturbing movies I have ever seen. I am not into torture and IMHO anyone (including DH) is crazy for liking them.

I agree, who in the world do they make those movies for, they are the most horrifying, disturbing, horrific things. Why and how are torturing people entertaining, it's so disturbing.

I saw the first SAW movie and the plot was so weak that I gave up on it. Apparently, the franchise had gained momentum...has it really improved since the first SAW?
Secondly, I have issues with the type of violence portrayed in this franchise as well as the HOSTEL or is it HOSTILE? franchise. The violence is too sick, freakish & creative for me to actually enjoy. Don't get me wrong I like to be horrified but not like this.

I loved the first two Saw movies. I liked 3...then I watched 4 and was like WTH is going on? I had to post here, where someone told me 4 was happening at the same time as 3. OK, I rewatched it, and it made a little more sense. I hated the idea of putting two main actors that look almost identical. I couldn't tell Hoffman apart from the FBI guy. 5 was just as confusing to me, because again, same two actors.

6 brought it all home for me. I loved 6! Maybe better than the 1st two. I think it explained a lot! Before 6 came out, I didn't think I was going to watch it..but I don't know, I'm like a moth to a flame with this series. If it's out there, i have to see it, just to see where it goes. So, I will be seeing 7, and if they make it..8. I heard a rumor that the series may go up past 10. to 11 or 12?

I just find it amazing they can keep making a movie about a guy who has been dead since #3.

maybe just maybe there are people who are creative and like to push limits. I mean am I "crazy" for helping in putting on 3 local haunted houses every year for the past 20 years now? some of which include torture scenes, some gore, graphic make-up and costumes, etc???

I think Saw 6 was much better than 3,4, and 5, but I wasn't as blown away as many people were. I've heard that due to the drop in box office, Saw 7 will be the last in the series. It sort of makes sense, as it seems like 7 will deal with Jigsaw's final plan/game for Hoffman.

I don't want to give away spoilers, but the director's cut of Saw 6 had an ending scence after credits. From what I interpreted from that scene, Jigsaw and Amanda were suspicous of Hoffman for awhile. Saw 7 should be the final flick taking care of him.

I guess that we're both crazy because we are haunted house enthusiasts here. ;)

I don't like enormous amounts of gore though. Something like Paranormal Activity which is more about things that go bump in the night is more my style. I did find the first Saw movie clever in premise though.

Something tells me Hoffman's gonna die, too.

i saw the first....3 i believe.

the first one was the best, by far. the other two weren't that great, imo and i get tired of when they keep running a franchise ON AND ON.

To me, it started to suck when they killed off John and Amanda. But VI was really good.
