My DD is 5 years and I'm thinking she'll want to see some of the princesses more than once - like Ariel and Cinderella. Has anyone's child (around the same age) noticed that it's not the exact same person?

Nope. When my DD was 5, we sometimes saw the same princess twice in one day and she never said anything about them looking different.

It wasn't until DD was 11 that she saw Ariel twice within 5 minutes and got a big surprise ;) At 5, I wouldn't expect an issue.

My niece who was almost 5 never noticed that a lot of princesses have a big group of friends :thumbsup2.

There last week and my DDs 5.5 and 7.5 saw A&E twice. I forgot they would probably be different until I saw them myself and was slightly worried but kids didn't notice....now I'm not sure what I'll do about those pesky pictures...

My princesses did not notice, and the Princesses were very good about catching references that they had already met. I was impressed at the quick wits these characters have!

When I was five years old some lady said hello to me in the grocery store. I was scared of strangers and hid behind my mother. Turns out she was my Kindergarten teacher and I'd seen her five days a week for the past seven months. I just didn't know who she was without the chalkboard behind her. If you'd stuck a chalkboard behind any lady with short gray hair and a shrill voice, I probably would have assumed it was my teacher.

DGD is almost 8 and has never noticed they are not the same exact people.
For one thing, Disney has pretty tight parameters on who they hire as friends.
So they all look similar. Unless standing side by side most never question it

We just return and my DD5 didn't notice but my DD6 did notice. So we had to pull her to the side so she didn't spoil the fun for her sister but all was well and DD6 enjoyed meeting them all even if they were not the same people.

When my daughter was 6 she noticed the difference a couple of times. However it didn't ruin the meet and greets for her at all. She just went with the flow and was still excited to meet characters.

My 6yo DD has been twice (3.5 yo and 5yo) and has met some of the same princesses on both trips and if she has noticed she hasn't said anything even after looking back at pics from both trips. A friends daughter was 5 maybe 6 when she went and turned and said to her mom, "I know they are only pretend and wear wigs." But she still had fun.

Best not to take pictures, though. Surely they'll notice if looking at pictures?

DS was 3 and noticed (in person and in pictures) that Jack Sparrow looked different from September to December.
