Yeah, I had to run after work yesterday, instead of at lunch, and it was T+D of 137 and the sun came out, after being cloudy all day. Here in PA, I've been reminded that I actually can run without feeling like death!
All summer, it's been T+D between 130-140, and I just felt like *#&#@) most of the time.
Yesterday, T+D of 110, today T+D of 93.
It was like I was young again![]()

For what they say on their sizing information, I think it is about right - but maybe size down?? I don’t know that I would go off the ‘size equivalent’. I would say for most jeans and normal clothes now, I am a 4-6, but I wear their size S (not XS). My waist is close to the small measurement (upper range) and my hips fit more in their M and L range, but actually fit fine in a Small. I have had a couple XS that are okay if they are Swing Styles, but too tight if they are more fitted like the CasualFit (the style I prefer) and FlutterCut.Can anyone comment on how BolderAthletic/SparkleSkirts (not sparkle athletic) skorts and shorts run for sizing? A little big? A little small? I may have found a few for a price I'm willing to pay, but I'm unsure of the size.
oh my gosh I feel like a moron not checking to see if their website was still up. i recall last year there was a big announcement that they were closing?!For what they say on their sizing information, I think it is about right - but maybe size down?? I have probably 20 of them and it really depends on the cut. Probably 90% of mine are classic swing style. They are generally true to size, but if you are between, size down so they aren't moving around on you. If you plan to stuff the pockets, stick to the swing styles if you don't want to see all the bulges. Can anyone comment on how BolderAthletic/SparkleSkirts (not sparkle athletic) skorts and shorts run for sizing? They went into bankruptcy but are still operating, though they are pushing custom orders right now to help cashflow.oh my gosh I feel like a moron not checking to see if their website was still up. i recall last year there was a big announcement that they were closing?!
My past experience has been that anything I bought secondhand used in FB groups fit almost a size bigger than the label. Whereas every one I bought new fit true to size, using Athleta and CRZ Yoga as comparisons. I rarely wear them at all, so mine haven’t been worn or laundered a lot… but I can definitely feel that the stretch all around gets looser over time. The used ones are really too big for me to wear at this point. The ones I bought new are fine, albeit a touch looser than when they were brand new.Can anyone comment on how BolderAthletic/SparkleSkirts (not sparkle athletic) skorts and shorts run for sizing? This is true, but there is a hack. I've added a drawstring to the waist on some of my older ones (or those that ran strangely sized. It's really easy to cut a slit in the inside waistband and add a toggle. My past experience has been that anything I bought secondhand used in FB groups fit almost a size bigger than the label.
