QOTD: What is your current running routine? Days/week? Targeting monthly mileage? Following a training plan? Morning v. Evening?
My routine hasn’t been as routine as I intend. I set a goal this year of 1,500 miles (I did 708 in 2019 and 1,208 in 2020). My plan was to do the average weekly miles to reach the goal but doing back to back longer weekend runs to get ready for my first Dopey in 2022. Last weekend I did 13.35 on Saturday and 14 on Sunday. However I am not doing well with the mid-week maintenance runs. Reading other people’s plans I am going to do more hills and speedwork to change things up. I have always followed the runDisney Galloway plans to prepare for our Wine and Dine challenges with success. And I’ll use the Dopey plan as a guide as time gets closer. That’s my plan anyway - hopefully it sounds reasonable. I am definitely a morning run person.
