ATTQOTD: Anyone who eats ketchup on their hot dog should list it because it's weird and wrong. (sorry it has been at least 5 days since I've mentioned this so I was due to bring it up again.)

I really like ketchup in my mac n cheese though. This is okay because there's no laws against it in the bible like the above.

I don't eat hot dogs anymore (I should have never sat in the "all-you-can-eat" section at a baseball game last year) but when I did you bet your bottom dollar there was ketchup on it.

Fun Friday QOTD: What is a strange food item you eat or combination of foods you eat that most people think is strange?
I don't think what I eat is weird but some of my non-Asian friends might. I won't gross anyone out with details but examples of "weird" items are feet and innards. You know, stuff that you may find in a hot dog. ;)

ATTQOTD: I don't know how strange they really are, but I have two that seem to really bug people.

First off, I love black pudding and white pudding from Ireland. This grosses a lot of people out.

Black and white pudding is good.

ATTQOTD: When I visited Scotland I had haggis every chance I could.

One thing I do that a lot of people kind of raise an eyebrow at is using a soft pretzel as a “spoon” when eating water ice. I’ll also sometimes use hard pretzels as a “spoon” when eating yogurt.

No, I’m there with you. I’m just not a huge fan kidneys and I’m picky about liver preparations. Tripe I love, and chicken feet, pig feet, beef feet are all awesome. Sweetbreads, brains, eyes...

OK. I’ll go there. The only mandatory hot dog condiment for me is ketchup. My favorite is a hot dog with just ketchup and fresh chopped onions.

And while I’m at it:
  • Bananas are good
  • Cilantro is god awfully nasty

ATTQOTD:
Mac and Cheese with tuna mixed in.
Tuna mixed with mayo, then melt cheese on the top (do not do this at work as it makes people mad).
Pancakes with peanut butter and syrup. Then bacon on the side to dip in my syrup.

ETA: Always put ketchup on my hot dog. And mayo. :)

We can stay friends because I agree that cilantro is the wooooooorst.

ATTQOTD: Lutefisk (dried cod soaked in lye) and kippered herring. Neither is weird if you are Scandinavian. My German wife calls them fish jello and cat food respectively (but not respectfully).
I love kippered herring. My partner says pretty much the same.

But, æbelskivers are something we can all agree taste good. With muchos lingonberries.

Ranch dressing for dipping with pizza. I forget when I picked up this habit, but it sure wasn’t while growing up in Maine.

And here I thought we were friends. You’ve got it all backward.

ATTQOTD - I love steak, cooked rare. That used to be common, but it is almost impossible to get now. Most restaurants refuse to cook steak rare anymore. Heck, I am surprised that we are even allowed to eat steak anymore. 🧐

As for hotdogs (and hamburgers), if the beef isn't good enough for me to want to eat it without condiments then it isn't worth eating. 🤐
