After my first rD marathon in January, I had reservations for an 11am-ish breakfast at Kona at the Polynesian. Right after the race, I believe I ate a banana at the finish but nothing else. After walking out of the finish area and over to the monorail, I assumed I'd be plenty hungry for breakfast at Kona. I ordered big. It looked great. I sample a little of all of it, but regrettably left half of my meal behind. I had been warned that I might not be hungry for a while, but just assumed that could never apply to me. After a real shower, etc. and a tad of rest at Pop Century, we hit EPCOT in the afternoon. My appetite was back in full for dinner at Via Napoli.
Definitely not. I have to eat something very mild. I actually don't make any ADRs for the day of the half, because I sometimes get sick after the race.
My last race was Feb 2014. I had my gallbladder out in Sept 2014 and that stopped all of my running for a long time...the doctor did a little extra abdominal muscle tearing. #oops Then I got lazy/out of the habit. But now I'm back... for good!!
