I haven't seen and threads about Tangled and Beauty and the Beast.
How long do they go?
How many shows do they do a day and are they everyday?
Is the Beauty and the Beast like WDW?
We will be going end of October so I would think they wouldn't be too crowded.

No, they are nothing like he WDW show. There are usually 6 shows per day, usually 3 of each, and usually Tangled in the morning and BatB in the afternoon. They are 20/25 minutes long and feature Mr. Smythe and Mr Jones who basically play all of the characters except for the leading roles, Belle, Rapunzel and Flynn. They are cute and funny.

Thanks for the info, I was hoping the Beauty and Beast show was the same as WDW its one of our favorites.

No, they are a much smaller production than the show at DHS, but they're definitely worth checking out because they're fun, funny and there's lots of audience participation. But they also do get crowded. You'll want to show up at least 20 min early if you want a seat. Of course, you can stand in the back as well.

Also end of October can be very crowded. Halloweentime is big at DLR and crowds are almost as high as summer on some days. Just an FYI so you're not surprised.

There is a crowd calendar that was posted I forget the name of it but it had the end of October as a Ghost Town for its rating, so yes I would be shocked if its as full as summer crowds.
I'll be there October 26-November 1.
I do expect the Oct. 31 Halloween party to be packed since its a Friday.

I've never seen beauty and the beast in DW, but if you are looking for a high calibre show try Aladdin in DCA. We LoVE it, and I've heard people say it is better than beauty and the beast.

Aladdin is my favorite Disney Park show and Beauty and the Beast is second.
Its been about 3 years since I have been to DL and just saw they had the 2 shows at the Royal Theater.
The last time I went to the Royal Theater they had the Snow White show then it turned into a meet and great the last I knew.

It's not like the one at WDW, but it's just as good in a different way. It's a different kind if theater. It's not a large venue like WDW, so it feels like a really intimate show. You can wait to meet Belle after the show. I really enjoy these shows, as do my kiddos, and I like that they aren't the same as WDW. :)

Aladdin is more like the shows at WDW. I think the shows at DLR are a bit better than WDW. I don't know if it's the Hollywood closeness, but the actors at DLR are just really amazing.

Oh, and btw, "ghost town" at DLR is different than "ghost town" at WDW, IME.

Rstamm, I think You're thinking of Fantasy Land Theater, which is now home to Mickey and the Magical Map. The Royal Theatre is part of the new (2012) Princess Fantasy Faire located directly off the Hub to the left of the castle.

The two shows are worth seeing, just not quite as intricate as Aladdin or BatB at WDW. If you want to get an idea ahead of time you can find them on YouTube.

Yes I was thanks for pointing that out.
I will check them out at Youtube, I didn't think of that.
I definitely want to see Mickey and the Magical Map too.

I checked the Disneyland calendar it goes to the middle of Sept. and it looks like 3 times a day.
Thanks for all the info!

Yeah, during the off season they decrease M&MM but Royal Theatre still goes every day. If time allows do check out all three, they are quite enjoyable!
