Cast List
Me: No introduction required, I suspect most of you know me by now!
DW: Long suffering DW of the above
Alex: 15 - Coaster and Disney freak
Laura: 13 - Style queen
We were all up at a reasonable time considering the very late night it was about 8.15. We all showered and dressed (apart from Laura who wanted to stay in bed
).
Alison, Alexandra and I went to the food court to have breakfast.
Alison: fruit and yoghurt mix, Danish pastry (plus coffee in refillable mug)
Alexandra: Mickey waffle and bacon, Orange juice
Me: French toast and sausage (plus coffee in refillable mug)
(and we got some toast to take back for Laura)
Total cost $19
It made a change that the sausages used here were European in nature and not the normal links.
Laura ate her toast (with Marmite that wed brought from home) in the room whilst outside it poured with rain.
Bizarre, its meant to rain in the afternoon not in the mornings! It was only a short shower though as it had more or less stopped by the time we left the room at around 9.45.
We arrived at Hollywood Studios (its going to take some time getting used to the name to be honest. Mustve been a nightmare changing all the stuff over to the new name and getting all the CMs geared up for it).
We parked in Film 24 and made our way into the park at about 10am (with Alison tutting at the time!)
We went over to Toy Story Mania and the queue was MASSIVE and although we enquired, there were not letting any single riders on. The fast pass return time was already 5.20 6.20 in the evening - ho hum, well settle for that then!
We went to check out the queues for Tower of Terror (55 minutes no thanks!) and Rock n Roller Coaster (50 minutes not much better!). We decided to do RnRC in the single rider queue which was brilliant. We waited a grand total of 5 minutes!
After riding it once we promptly went and rode it again it was quicker than using fast pass. The girls and I went and rode it for a third straight time while Alison bought a cold drink and waited for us 3 times on the trot is beyond her!
The park seems to be very busy today and there were so many Brits!
From here we made our way over to the Studio Backlot tour no queues here, although we got thoroughly wet sat right at the back.
Weve never done the 4D Muppets show before (as the girls hate 3D films) so Alison and I did this while the girls went off somewhere else (I think they went to RnRC, but who knows!)
