I want to do the Behind the Seeds tour they have...how nerdy is that.

Vegas is great if you have self control. Great shows and great food.

i think it would be pretty cool as well, we will do those tours some day.

i want to eat at the 99 cent footlong hotdog place, i saw on tv.
:goodvibespopcorn::
Save yourself the wasted time and money. I think you would be embarassed for Candi's sake when they start handing you these business cards on the street with half naked women on them with a # to hire an "escort," for the evening and I don't mean the kind that Rosie is going to be!
Most people drop the cards on the ground and then you have all these "eyes," looking up at you when you walk along the drag. I don't think I've ever had the emotions of disgust and hilarity at the same time. :rotfl:
I went only because a friend I had known for most of my life lived there and she was about to get married and wanted a girls weekend with another mutual childhood friend of ours, we pretty much held up in the suit all weekend drinking wine and talking of days long ago. :lovestruc
Otherwise I would never have gone or will go again. :sad2: I don't think I ever felt such a heavy disgust reaction being in a town like I did there, I'm not a prude, but sometimes there's a presence in places that make you feel extremely unsettled. This place had it in spades....no pun intended.

i know parts of it are bad, but we dont gamble, we would mostly be going to see hover damn, and candi wants to see the shops in the casinos, and just kinda hang out.

thanks for the info, that is a pretty ranchy to hand those out and see them all over the sidewalks.

if we did go it would not be for at least 10 years down the road.

How are you doing? Hope everything turned out okay!

I am alright...I have had about 10 months worth of pain that no doctor could tell me what was going on. I had a Laproscopic surgery and they found that I had Endometriosis, and a rare form at that. I have pockets that have formed conatining the endometriosis. They burned off a pocket containing blood, but that is all they could do. The rest was to risky. They are going to put me on Lupron for 6 months to see if that helps and then if that does nothing for me, I will have to see a special surgeon. I hope you had a Happy Easter!!

A little off topic, but here is a photo that instantly mde me think of this TR!

A combination of peeps and Disney!

Have mercy on my soul! I'm away from the Disboards for a day or two and I get pages behind again! So, you're the guy that I can never see around to read the little signs they have in front of the exhibits.

Hope you had a great Easter weekend!

Morning Jordan! Hope you have a fun, restful day after a long day yesterday :)

"See" you in the (my) morning.

Happy Day after Easter.
I am new to your trip reports, and so far so good. I am up to date with your current one, so I'll zip back to the past and get to know you better!
:goodvibes Love the links to other peeps trip reports!

Happy Easter, everyone!

Jordan, I have a question for you as you plan your big birthday trip. Any thoughts on how the crowds compare in late June/early July with the crowds we experienced this past February?

I cannot comment on crowds in Feb, but we went at the end of June/beginning of July, the weather was perfect, the parks were busy, but no more so than in August. You just have to plan your park visits a bit more carefully. We did the Magic Kingdom on July 1 (Canada Day, and we saw the special fireworks that they have for July 4th, then on July 4th we were at Animal Kingdom, very quiet and relaxing not having to deal with the July 4th crowds, watched fireworks from out balcony at Wilderness Lodge. It was great to celebrate two countries birthdays while we were there, being that we were from Canada, and I am an American, I really missed the July 4th celebrations that I grew up with, and this really brought back memories of true American patriotism.

ditto on that!

Afternoon everybody! Or is it still morning on the west coast....

A little off topic, but I just finished two exams and handed in an assignment today, after about 4-5 hrs of sleep last night. I'm SOO relieved it is over! Now, only 2 more exams until my 2 weeks of summer vacay before school starts again! :woohoo:

I didn't hear anything about the earthquake, but then, I was too busy working on my essay.....I've never experienced an earthquake that big. At most, Toronto only experiences slight tremors that most people don't notice. I hope everyone is alright and nobody is hurt too badly.

finally got a chance to sit down and read your latest update.

Is anyone else mesmerized by the Victoria Secrets "nakeds" commercials? Yeah, didn't think so...anyways......

i'm sure some of your fellow male dissers have responded in the affirmative.

such a cutie!

I had my usual Peep Fare....Cashew Chicken with mixed veggies and noodles..mmmm.

that sounds really good right now. wish it didn't cost a fortune to have chinese food delivered!

As you know, when you travel with a larger group which include kids, whenever you leave an attraction or a meal or the restroom or the room or the bus or the car or the tram or the ferry or the plane, you have to get the stroller situated, the kids situated, the leftovers situated, the purse situated, the diaper bag situated, the shopping bags situated, the extra blankets situated, the sippy cups situated...

oh, what i have to look forward to. :rotfl:

I just read your last installment. I am also an aquarium lover and have to see EVERY exhibit and read the placard, word for word! And I am also not a seafood lover...in fact, I don't really even enjoy the smell of it. Oh, and I also had to mention that Ashlyn is SO adorable! Can't wait for more updates :goodvibes (for the record, I'm already onto number 4!)

Well, I guess this thread has tought me one thing........Don't go to sleep! I wake up to find 3 more pages and now my kids are looking at me like im a moron for laughing at a computer! We have TONS to to today so there is a chance I wont be able to log back in until Monday! We let Kata skip school yesterday to go to Busch Gardens and I got BURNT :scared1:. We have family in town for the weekend so we have lots to do and tomorrow we are going to Busch again! It is our Non-Traditional Easter Tradition now! And to top it off.......Guess who's sick now?!?!?!?! I thought it was allergies due to people mowing grass and stuff but it's been 4 days now so I think it might be a cold . I am sure that when I get back in here Ill have 10 pages to catch up on!!! Have a Happy Easter everyone!

I've done a few quick check in over the last few days, but was pretty much busy with Easter stuff both Saturday and Sunday....just catching up right now myself...only 4 pages behind.....:headache:

On a separate note....I woke up this morning and found my glasses hanging on a thread. This is what they look like now.

I guess I need Jordan's superman powers....or his super glue! Have a nice Easter and hope you're not behind like 20 pages by Monday.

It must be an epidemic.

I am 4 pages behind....

oh my gosh Derek, what happened to your glasses overnight???

Speaking of non-traditional Easter dinners, this year, my family's being spoiled. We're eating KOBE beef at a teppenyaki restaurant tomorrow!:lovestruc:lovestruc Yes, teppan as in Teppen Edo. Lucky for my family, I have an uncle that owns that restaurant.:thumbsup2 So at least once a month, we get to eat there!

Which is one of the reasons why I don't think I'll ever eat at Teppen Edo. Oddly though, no matter HOW MANY times I see that onion volcano, I still love it! And I must've seen it over hundreds of times now! Haha:lmao:

You're lucky to have it so often. KOBE beef...mmmmmmmmm
