Thanks for the references. I usually buy my frames from our dear family friend, Dr. Kent, our family optometrist (and a huge Disney Fan :smickey:) but on occasion there are frames which he doesn't stock or can't get at a good discount. I once saw a DG frame that I loved at Lenscrafter but Kent couldn't get it for me. I'll check out both sites and give you some options to vote on! :thumbsup2

On another note, here's a picture of my breakfast (spam fried rice with eggs) which Wendy was kind enough to make and Jordan has influenced with his taste for all things Tabasco (he actually ruined my breakfasts because I can no longer appreciate eggs or fried rice without it:headache:)

Happy easter to everyone..... I always seem to be a little late...;)

Happy Easter, everyone!

Jordan, I have a question for you as you plan your big birthday trip. Any thoughts on how the crowds compare in late June/early July with the crowds we experienced this past February?

Just curious and so enjoying reading your TR!

I went in late June in 07. It was busy, but nothing really compares to President's Weekend when you have the New York schools and Louisiana schools out at the same time. I think in the summer you have a better dispersement of crowds. Both waterparks are open and the pools are all used. That might be 30-40k people that are not at a park. The closer it gets to 4th of July it gets the busier it gets, but Glennbo went over 4th of July before and if you plan right, you can still do alot.

Awww Jordy, you just got back. And it's almost midnight where I am....meaning I have to go to sleep.

I just know I'm going to wake up to at least 3 or more pages to catch up on :sad2:

Oh wells, I hope those that had a day off today enjoyed it!

Glad you're OK! Take it easy and see you tomorrow!

Happy Easter BTW!! :goodvibes

Glad you're okay. Haven't heard about it yet here on the east coast. When did it happen and where was it centered? I have family out there.

OMG I just got an email with breaking news about that and I immediately thought of you and refreshed my screen and you posted.

Glad to hear you are OK. Seems like the whole world is "adjusting ".

I got this via a "breaking news" email

A strong earthquake south of the U.S.-Mexico border shook high-rises in downtown Los Angeles and San Diego and was felt across Southern California and Arizona.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the 6.9 magnitude quake struck in Baja California, about 108 miles east-southeast of Tijuana.

LOS ANGELES - A strong earthquake south of the U.S.-Mexico border Sunday swayed high-rises in downtown Los Angeles and San Diego and was felt across Southern California and Arizona, knocking out power and breaking pipes in some areas but causing no major damage.

The 7.2-magnitude quake struck at 3:40 p.m. in Baja California in Mexico, about 19 miles southeast of Mexicali, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It was initially reported as a magnitude-6.9 quake. The updated magnitude was still an estimate, according to USGS seismologist Lucy Jones.

The area was hit by magnitude-3.0 quakes all week.

Oh, no. Family's in San Diego. Trying to get more info now. Thanks for the info.

Glad to hear all is well. The closest we come to a rolling earthquake is Taco Tuesdays at Rosa's. Our disasters of choice are flash floods and the odd tornado. Stay safe bro. Hope you had an awesome Easter.

Glad you guys are all okay. DH and I just read about the quake online! :scared1:

I am no earthquake expert ( and I don't play one on TV) but usually there are aftershocks. Might be an interesting night!!!
Jordy, I remember back when there was a tornado we were kidding you about not having an emergency kit. You have one now right? Please tell me you do.

Stay safe. I worked all weekend :-( but I am off Monday :-) Gotta get caught up here at home but I will be around.

Glad you guys are ok.

Hope you had a great Easter weekend, Jordan.

They said it was felt here in Vegas. I didn't feel a thing. I was on my way home from work at that time.

Now the quake in the Mojave desert in 1999, "Hector mine". That, I felt!!!!
First I heard it, then my bed took a BIG dip. It was a roller like this one was.

Really glad you are a-ok!!!

Thanks for all the good wishes....

The whole Earthquake thing is crazy! Seems like there have been alot lately! Glad everyone is OK though.

On a side note, Easter here went as usual! Mega family fighting! The day at Busch Gardens was awesome but the aftermath was HORRIBLE! Weather was about 73 and breezy, it was a beautiful day!

Again, I am glad that everyone is alright. I don't think I could live with earthquakes. I'm fine with Hurricanes but Earthquakes are too unpredictable for me!
family fighting....sorry.

Yeah earthquakes are very unpredictable.....

I was so happy that you posted that you were ok on FB yesterday. Bill and I were worried about you .

I am alright...I have had about 10 months worth of pain that no doctor could tell me what was going on. I had a Laproscopic surgery and they found that I had Endometriosis, and a rare form at that. I have pockets that have formed conatining the endometriosis. They burned off a pocket containing blood, but that is all they could do. The rest was to risky. They are going to put me on Lupron for 6 months to see if that helps and then if that does nothing for me, I will have to see a special surgeon. I hope you had a Happy Easter!!
:hug::hug::hug:

Have mercy on my soul! I'm away from the Disboards for a day or two and I get pages behind again! So, you're the guy that I can never see around to read the little signs they have in front of the exhibits.

Hope you had a great Easter weekend!

I AM that guy.....

It was busy. I'm still recovering....

Here is numero tres, you got it!! :thumbsup2

I'm so glad to hear that you made out ok in the earthquake! I have experienced a couple visiting my family in southern Cali and they are always scary!

I actually wasn't that scared, I only get scared when it's a biggie. I've only been in 2 big ones....you get used to them....

Happy Day after Easter.
I am new to your trip reports, and so far so good. I am up to date with your current one, so I'll zip back to the past and get to know you better!
