Chapter 15. Bonus Track #2. Wendy/Derek and gang's first full day...heading to Epcot.

Sunday morning, February 7th 2010.

I think Kim and Allan were up first since they were already on East Coast time.
I think Derek was up next and took some day pics of the view from the room:

By this time Wendy and Erin and Dylan were getting ready. Time to grab the monorail to the TTC. Ooo...Ashlyn's first trip to a WDW park At the TTC, they switched to the Epcot monorail. I think it was at this time that Wendy called and said they were on their way over....I was doing this.

Here's our conversation when she called or my side of the phone convo:
"hello?"
"hi, wendy"
"I'm on a bench eating an empanada"
"yes, it's cold"
"you're on your way? okay, I'll meet you at the front gate."

You can fill in and guess what she said.

We are still heading that way in September. We are going to book our flight this weekend. I will let you know details when we know more.

I thought of you the other day. Someone gave my daddy a CD with 100 different fart sounds. That should tell you something about him.
My mom gets so mad at him because of that sometimes. The first thing he said to Courtney when she was born was " Pull Pop's finger ". MY Moma says that God much have a special Fart section in Heaven for people like my Daddy. She said she has never seen a person so entertained by " Poofs " like him.

oh, he was my friend. i love frogs. i used to have an aquarium full. i have a picture with a tree frog sitting on top of ray's mom's dog's head. that night at pop i actually picked him up but it scared him because he peed on my hand and hopped down. i think that kinda freaked erica out. but he followed us up the stairs and then i never saw him again. there's probably some good bug-catching in that stairwell at night with all the lights.


and i will say it again and i'm sure it won't be the last time.....derek & wendy, your kids are so flippin' cute! how much of a gentleman is little dylan with letting the girls have the stroller???

Actually, I was up first among the BLT folks on most mornings and had plenty of opportunities to take early sunrise photos which I'm sure Jordan will post.

I'd like to be there right now, even if it was that cold!

Yeah, the denmark site is pretty glitchy and not the easiest to view things through, their catalog is much better! I found a pair I really want and the side temples are removable to let you change the look, which I think is such a brilliant idea, you can order more than one set of sides and presto it's like two pairs of glasses for the price of one.

Sadly since I ordered new rx sun glasses as my new job present to myself....those will have to wait until...I dunno.

Are you planning to go out and look at glasses soon? Gotta love lenscrafters turning them around in an hour, that is a good feature. And from a broken glass standpoint, their service is amazing. They have restored and fixed glasses that I was sure were beyond hope.

Yeah, Ashlyn won't remember the trip and all the work we did to bundle her up but at least we have photos. The weather warmed up on the last day (we spent the morning at MK)...bummer

The kids are growing up by leaps and bounds. It's amazing how just a few months ago, Ashlyn was crawling, then cruising, and now running and gunning (talking). She's the craziest of the 3.

BLT was really nice (nicer than some Westin resorts that we love based on the contemporary design, but I'm not sure I'd love to repeat the cold weather. The wind was artic cold
