The search fundtion went down as I was trying to get some info, so.........

I am looking for the name and menu of the upstairs/better restaurant in France. We have eaten downstairs (the Bistro???) and really enjoyed our meal.

Does it have a dress code? We will be celebrating our anniversary during our August trip and would like to eat there. However, DH does not like to dress up on vacation and I don't want to pack my good clothes for just one night. (No Vicky and Al's for us this trip!)

Also, how long does it take for a complete meal? We will be leaving our children in the Boardwalk evening care and would like to plan accordingly for bedtimes, etc....

Finally, any recommendations?!?!?!

Thanks!

Hey, Claudia! The Bistro is upstairs; Chefs de France is down. I think there's a world of difference in atmosphere - Chef's is busy and bustling; Bistro de Paris is much quieter and more formal.

But, standard theme park attire is the norm. I think they frown some on tank tops, but otherwise, there's not really a dress code. The Bistro is the kind of place you'd dress up for outside the "World." It's actually pretty elegant. I'm guessing 60 - 90 minutes for a meal at the most, but don't forget time from BW to France (which is right at the Int'l Gateway).

Here's a link to the menu. Good choice for a theme park "date"!

We did an anniversary dinner at the Bistro about a year ago. We had an 8:20 PS, went for every course, and were out around 11! Actually, it was a lot of fun, leaving the empty park. Obviously, you don't have to take as much time as we did.

If you get a table by the window, you can see illuminations. We had a table against the back wall, but when our waitor saw us glancing out across the restaurant, he moved us to a vacant table by the window.

I'd highly recommend it! And I'm sure you can be faster than we were!!!
