I'm not much of writer so here is the rest of the trip.

Day 2- 12/21
Breakfast at Chef Mickeys. We really had a great time here. I loved the Mickey waffles. We then got on the monorail to Epcot. It was a little cold, but we thought it would warm up. We went to Misson Space I sent my husband first since the single rider line was 5 min. He got off a little green. But the rest of us wanted to give it a try anyway. I was pretty nervous about my 7 year old..Well that was so much fun! We rode it 2x in a row :D ! I later found out dh closed his eyes on the liftoff. I really don't know how he missed the 200 or so signs not to. We had a great time in the launch control center. We spent the day in future world. We had dinner at 530 at LTT so we hopped on the monorail to MK.
I snuck into city hall and got dh to be vetern of the day for our last day. I met everyone ( me 32, dh 34 , ds 11, dd 9, ds 7) at dinner. I loved this place the food was very good. Dale kept playing with my youngest son and daughter. By now it is VERY cold. But good thing we brought our coats hats and gloves. We also brought hot hands from WalMart. I think it must have been 30degrees or less! We rode big thunder mountain and kids just loved it. dh staked out a parade spot and we rode big thunder many times while waiting. As we waited a cm chatted with us and then gave us fastpasses for big thunder! Wow that 2 nice things in 2 days! (the 1st being we were the 1st family at MGM the previous day) After spectro, wishes off to bed!

Day 3 12/22
MK all day. took a nap mid day though. It was warm so kids swam with dh. dinner at hoop de doo. Kids loved it! But when we got back to the room my daughter kept saying she was itchy. I took her in the bathroom and had her take off her shirt. Right before my eyes she just burst out in hives. I mean poof! It was scary enough I called the doctor and while on the phone with him she was telling me her throat hurt and was tight. The doc said to call 911 as the symtoms were so sudden. Well now everyone is alarmed !! glen the night manager shows up and then ems. we get her calmed down and gave her some medicine and she got a little better so no hospital thank goodness.

Day 4
we slept in due to the excitement of the night before. Rebecca seemed better so we went to beaches and cream for lunch. Yumm! Then AK for a few hours then off to Ohana for dinner. The boys went to disney quest after dinner. I took rebecca back to the CR because I wanted her to rest after the night before. We did see the water pagent that was cute. Back in the room for about 20 minutes and she started to get hives again, So now I'm thinking it must be something in the room. I think maybe the detergent they wash with? so I have her put on sweats and cover the pillow with my sweatshirt and sleep with gloves on to minimize contact with the bedding. we call and have them do just baking soda wash from now on.

Day 5
Animal Kingdom! fun place! Rebecca lost her light up ears somewhere on dinosaur ( they wern't lit) and they just gave us a voucher for a new pair! so nice! We hopped to mgm to see parade and fantasmic package. Our fave rides are TOT and rock n roller coaster!!
Day6
epcot and candlelight . My regret is that we didn't finish this park.. I wanted to tour the countries but was out voted. Innoventions won instead. I loved seeing the candlelight proccesional on Christmas Eve.

Day 7
It rained all day. There was mass at the CR, so we just went there how nice to arrange that! After lunch it looked like it was letting up so we tried MK from 2-4. Got soaked even with ponchos. So we gave up and realaxed at the hotel.

Day 8
Our last day. MK. SO COLD!! Noone was there. It was like in the 20's in the morning. we were warm but I saw others in hotel lobby in shorts and sweatshirts. Boy were they going to freeze! But cold or not we had the park to ourselves until after noon! We rode big thunder at least 4 xs in a row. twice we didn't even have to get off! we took the train to camp mickey got autographs with no waits and then rode space mountain about 5 times! Then rode buzz twice. all this before noon. I must say I beat the boys I got a score of 234,700. It may not be much to some of you, but it was only my 2nd ride of that ride. The best part of the day was watching dh be vetran of the day. I know he was proud and it made us proud to watch. They even announced him Major Jeffrey.... serving in the USAF! We were warned that pin traders want to get that pin not to trade!
A really great trip none wanted to go home!

Thanks for reading this long rambleing report. Questions? :flower1: :flower1:

Glad everything was OK...but sounds like a food allergy that might be more dangerous next time....I think I'd go to an allergist....

I've loved reading about your trip. Sounds very magical. Sorry your DD got hives. I think I'd take her to the allergist too, just in case. My granddaughter was bitten by a spider? when we went to Hoop Dee Doo a couple years ago. We think it was a spider. Her hand swelled up pretty bad. We got some Benedryl from the gift shop at AKL and it went away pretty quickly though.

Time to start planning your next trip! Thanks for sharing!

Well I thought food too, but she would start to itch whenever we got into the room! After the house keeping staff washed the sheets with only baking soda she didn't get the hives anymore. so thats what I think it was. But it was pretty scary. They just popped up so fast!

Yes it was. It really wasn't that crowded either. I mean I went into this expecting massive crowds and huge lines, but we got there at opening ( thanks for this info my dis friends!) and we used fastpass. we never waited more than 30 minutes ever! i worst crowd was when we made the mistake of trying to get from frontier land to tommorow land during wishes! you can imagine how that went!

I enjoyed your trip report - we went to CP on Christmas Eve in 2002 and loved it. Disney at Christmas is special!

Great trip report. So glad that your dh got to be Veteran of the day!!! Also glad to hear that your dd is fine. That must have been very scary to see her break out in hives so quickly!
