The required 4 night stay

I notice that you need to book 4 days at a disney resort in order to have your intimate package - we have a timeshare which can be used at the disney DVC resorts , can we do this?

I believe you can use DVC points for your required stay...call DFTW to be sure though.

On a side note...we are considering DVC and I wasn't aware there was another timeshare that allowed a "transfer" to DVC points...can you share more information about that, I would be very interested.

We are DVC owners and yes you can definitely do that. Our intimate was booked with a stay at SSR.

Hiwaygal, interval international is the timeshare that allows you to trade into Disney. However, there are fees for trading in and it really isn't the best use of that particular time share. If you intend on continously using it for Disney it wouldn't save you any money and could end up costing you more in the end. The same goes for Disney when trading into other time shares. There is always a fee and it takes up so much of your points that you would have to own a pretty large "intrest" to do any travel outside of Disney. Hope it helps!

Although it is technicaly possible to transfer from another time share into a DVC resort, my undersanding is that the odds are against it. You might be able to get into one of the large ones like OKW or SSR. Good luck.
