The Real Time Share People of Orange County

Not even the first time we heard a story like this from this poster...
Excellent work my dear Watson. An interesting trend seems to have developed.

It really shocks me to hear stories like these. We had such an easy time during our presentation. Our guide neither pressured us or acted like she did not care. She simply gave us the info and like most have said it sells itself or it does not. But I have been to other timeshare presentations and felt violated when I left. Disney did not at all make me feel this way. I am sorry some have had bad experiences. :sunny:

It does not shock me, because I was not there to witness the account so it does not affect me nor am I am sure it went down this way.

It amazes me how quickly people will believe what is posted on Net forums. Surely everyone does not believe it is all 100% accurate.

If you have a problem with a guide to the point it bothers you, then contact DVC. Coming here and sharing, is strickly gossip.

The Net is a great place for getting info for planning trips, reading reviews about resorts and restaurants. Getting tips from frequent guests about how to save time and money. But when it comes to accounts about personal interaction, I just let it roll right off me.

I would never want someone to base their opinion of my worth in my job by the conversations read on a Net forum and I would never do that to anyone else.

:thumbsup2 Sammie.

This is so completely different than the treatment I recieved that I'd have to doubt the validity of this post. Take all of these posts with a certain amount of skepticism and see what adds up. This one doesn't ring true at all.

It's also very different than what we just experienced last week when we toured SSR. While our guide's first priority was SSR, he couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating in answering all of our DVC questions pertaining to other DVC resorts. He was never, ever pushy or said or did anything that had me feeling the least bit uncomfortable.

We've toured a few timeshares through the years, and DVC's was the most impressive, most guest friendly, and LEAST pressured of any. It was a walk in the park compared to others we've been to, so much so, that we actually enjoyed it.

Hmmmmmmmmm........

First the OP has a bad Guide experience at DLR.

Shortly thereafter, OP's 'friends' have a bad Guide experience at DLR.

Curiouser and Curiouser.

Ooh, wonder if she's a former Westgate trained sales person? :teeth:
Those are some of the scariest out there.

My parents own with Westgate and said their sales staff can be real weasels. They avoid them at all cost.

I would hope that if Disney saw a resume for a Disney guide and saw Westgate on the application that it would go quickly in the shredder or recycling bin. Should Disney ever turn into an operation like Westgate it would be soon be the end of such a great thing.

Can you imagine? 6 hour tour, the price is $148 per point.........no wait....if you buy today $136 per point...............no wait..............actually this is pre-construction so $122 per point........no wait...............let me let you talk to my manager and finally...............$90 per point.

That would be the beginning of the end.
