Just had to tell you all that DD has decided that she wants all of her birthday cards (and mine, too) in her crib with her to read and look at the pictures! I was going to cut out the images and use in my scrapbook but nope, she wants them!

It can be pretty tricky but not really because it's hard to assign the tables but because guests are so, so difficult. Like, you get a guest to their table and they don't want to sit there. That just messes everything up because we're usually full so by the time you find another table for them it's already been assigned. It's also difficult because people don't understand that even though they made an ADR they still have to wait for a table. People get MEAN. I hate that aspect of it, getting screamed at by guests. As if it's my fault there's no tables available at the moment.

That's why you get there early anyway...

My DH and I were in line to check in for our ADR at Cape May Cafe last year. Some lady was yelling and ranting about how she didn't want to come here in the first place. She was yelling at her daughter that she better get over here or they're going home. (The daughter was about early teens and was maybe 5 feet away sitting on a bench.) The daughter looked like she was about to cry, dad was trying very gently to calm mom down. I felt bad for the girl, and was glad I wasn't working there that day.

I think people try to commando tour from 7am to midnight or later for a week in the heat and humidity and get super cranky. Of course, some people are like that well rested.

Tigger I didn't realize how long your hair was, I see it coming up on your arm around your elbow, wow! Nice and long. A friend of mine at work, when I worked, lol, grew her hair real long and then had it cut off for locks of love.She was older and had to let it go gray naturally as they don't take hair with dye or perm in it. At tht point she couldn't wait to get it cut!

Last year it was almost the the bottom of my butt, but I cut off 10 inches for Locks of Love. The few times I've cut my hair short(by short I mean even shoulder length), I've always grown it out again. I'm just a in the wrong time. I'm going to have a looooong gray braid someday.
