Oh my goodness I totally got distracted since I last posted! 'Ohana was pretty good. I had never eaten there before. Not gonna lie though, the meat on a stick was kinda creepy to me.

Yes, they were perimeter fireworks and they were absolutely incredible. The only time I've ever seen the all around fireworks like that was on NYE. It was a zoo at the Magic Kingdom though. Took us a looooong time to get out of there.

Okay...I played with my avatars a few time and think I am happy for now...

I had CIndy Brady from the Brady Bunch Movie and put the word tattletale on it....but I couldn;t get the writing big enough to see that, so I didn;t like it.

Then, I tired out a pic of Mickey, Goofy, Alice in Wonderland, etc playing a game at a table...but it was too white and smalll and you couldn;t make out half the characters.

So, I have settled on the Green Mickey..felt it was appropriate for the dis..

BTW..watching the fireworks on channel 6, and they are plahing I am proud to be an American....I love that song...it always make me feel so warm and tingly inside...

Now, they have moved on to a more upbeat music....very nice...

Guess they were delayed due to rain....

That's the one I watced also. I get all choked up on the patriotic songs.

Maybe it is a Northern thing??? A lot of stores have Christmas in July specials or radio stations play christmas music.....

But, I love Christmas.....172 more days!!!

WeirdTigger27, I loved looking at all of the pictures you posted. If you don't mind sharing, how did you and your husband meet? I love hearing other people's love stories.

Short version, online in an "Emergency!"(the old 70s show, it used to be on TV Land) chat room. He lived a few states away at the time. He came to see me, we used the Disney Store at my local mall as a meeting place and the rest is history.

Sorry if you were hoping for something more exciting!!!!

That's a really good Aladdin. It may be the same guy that was there when DS got his picture taken but they did a better job on his hair the day you were there. Of course that would be a long time for him to work that job but who knows. DD still hasn't gotten to meet Jasmine. I don't think she knows that.

He was really good! He had all of the mannerisms and personality down pat!

Yeah, I do retail. I told you I didn't have any talents!!! I get an extra eight hours this week for the holiday though, so that's okay!

I know Mama, but I can't help it! Not really, I think we caught part of the Boston Pops with the fireworks until DH put 1776 on.
