So DH finally gives me my birthday present tonight (The Mickey and Friends Cricut Cartridge for scrapbooking) ... guess how he did it -- here's your birthday present. It's still in the AC Moore plastic bag, -- no gift wrap, no card...



So of course I say in my sarcastic manner, "Oh, look at this wrapping paper! It's really pretty." Then he just gives me a look and walks away.



It would have been nice if he at least wrapped it...I guess men don't think of these things...

I have the opposite problem

At Christmas time, he wrapes my presents with DUCT Tape...He thnks it is hilarious...Me Not so Much...

Last Christmas I got up one morning and realized that DH had wrapped my presents in comics from the newspaper. I was mad. I made such an effort to wrap each kid's in a specific wrap that they picked out and used older paper that was running out for adults and kids that weren't our own. All the presents looked so pretty under the tree but I get up to find comic paper down there. I complained about it rather loudly and as soon as DH got home DD went off, "Daddy! You're not supposed to wrap Christmas presents in comics. It wouldn't be so bad if it was a birthday present but it looks like crap under the Christmas tree!" I think she quoted me word for word.

Yeah, we do the duct tape thing with our nephews/nieces on his side of the family -- but not a whole roll -- YIKES!!

Oh, that brings up another GC thought -- DH asked me to model the egyptianprincesssexslave outfit for him tomorrow night so he can get pictures!! I might not get a chance to chat tomorrow

Pictures! I have a motto, never take pictures that you wouldn't mind your kids looking at.

Oh no, I was glad she said it so I didn't have to repeat it myself. DH gets mad though like I coach her to do it. She loves it when I say things that I'm mad at daddy about. I usually forget to bring them up but she meets him at the door to let him know how he disappointed me. It cracks me up! I'm gonna win mom of the year ya know.
