 Hey Steph just checked out your photos. The view of the lake and the Mt. is gorgeous. I could sit out there all day and be sooo happy!!! Your new sheets and comforter look great, real bright and cheery. I like them. I think there is a lot of possibility there in the trailer. I'm sure once your dad fixes it up you will all be happier. There's some nice furniture inthere and you can mix it or replace it with what you have at home now and make it a nice little home. It is small, you are right but at least you are young and you can take some classes, find yourself a good job where you can move up and make it into a career and get your own place. it's something to work towards!!!! Be happy Steph, you'll do fine!!!!

we can.. but when I was younger I stepped on a clam shell (people use them as bait) and my Great Gradndpa put like Iodine or something like that that HURT really bad on it... so I dont know.. I haven't been back in since! :lmao:

Wear old tennis shoes or aqua shoes if you go in the lake so you don't hurt your feet. I never go in the water shoelesss. It looks so refreshing, I'd have to go in.

I love the master bedroom, very pretty.

Marshay,
The pics were great. that's so nice how you all get together with all the kids the same age. I like that idea. It will be nice the older the kids get as they will all have things in common and will be happy to have each other to play with.
From what I could see the inside of your house is gorgeous too! You have a lovely home. I loved the family pic and all the pics outside as well.

That little tykes jumping thing is great for kids. I wish I could buy DGS one for their yard. He would love it!!!

The outside of your home is gorgeous. It looks enormous!!! Your yard is so beautifully landscaped as well. It's a wonderful home and property for you. I think I saw tomatoes growing in that veggie garden, ,didn't i?????

Now that I have caught up to page 1730 I think I should go pick some blueberries. I have tons more out there and I just hate to see them go to waste. I'll pick them and give them to my friends when we have lunch again next week. The weather has been so bad these past weeks taht we have a storm every day. I'd hate to wait for them to come pick them and then have storms again and have them not be able to pick.

Love your collection Marshay. Though I am a tweety freak, I love Disney also. If I had room for yet another curio I'd start a bigger disney collection. Just don't have the room or the money for that these days.

Hope to be back on later and see some of you here. It's so quiet!!!!

Bye for now!!!

We are going with a Mickey Mouse theme...having her party at our house with both my and DH's relatives (16 total).

We already opened the moonbounce and let her try it out to make sure she liked it. She did! We got our on sale at KB Toys.

DS bday theme wsa Mickey Mouse, too...:thumbsup2

Veggie Garden #1

You can guess what we are growing here

JPEG031.jpg

Tomatos??

Yep, I purposely didn't say anything about that...wanted to make you guess!!

It's an easy way for us to keep the doors from being opened by curious little hands that would destroy my collection and break my heart!

I got the Barbie house with 7 Barbies, clothes and furniture for only $25 at a consignment sale... DD is just starting to do some pretend play, so we really haven't played much with it. On Thursday, she did put her bears in the bed and got the Barbie chairs out of the family room and brought them into the house -- the first I've really seen her play with it!

You know me like the back of your hand..:rotfl2:

That is a great idea...and red is a great choic of color:thumbsup2

I used to love playing Barbies....sounds like that is right around the corner for you..

I had a pool too that you could put water in...that would be fun for your dd...

to play with on the deck.....of course...:rotfl:

it's funny, b/c when DH's MR-2 was getting really, really old I told him our next vehicle must have 4 doors at a minimum and be an SUV at a maximum. So when it was new (before DD), he drove it everywhere. Then when I was pregnant, I drove it and he drove my Camry. Then when DD was born, we got a new Camry for DH and I got the Sequoia.

The big joke was that DH's MR2 could fit in the back of the Sequoia. It's huge and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!

I don't blame ya...I would LOVE it too!!!!

I have always wanted an SUV....but Il like my minivan and it will be paid off in a year and half...:cool1:

Marsahy, my mom was asking me what you did for a living?

I told her you were a SAHM..

But, I forget what you did before you had your DD....

Care to refresh my memory.......I have Mommy Brain...:rotfl2:

FYI ALL!!!
its still the 5th over on this side of the country!

ONE MONTH TILL MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!

ok so I know that I posted that I was NOT going to Clearlake but turns out I have to but I am a little more at ease about it because I know Josh's parents said no.. they dont think it would be a good idea for me to move in there because they already have his uncle living there (and I didnt know that).. so I am going to be moving to Clearlake... but dad and I are making "compromises" on what I get when we get up there.. the room that I am getting is narrow.. but long.. but he was going to cut it in half making the bedroom part that I would get about the size of a bathroom... reason he was going to cut it in half and put up a wall was because the backdoor is in that room.. well he isnt going to do it now as long as he has free range to walk thru there to the backyard during the day when I am not home or not in the room and if I am he is going to knock to go thru.. but you can go out the front door and just walk around to the back.. the backyard is the same as the front yard.. lol! and I get a puppy.. as long as its small and I keep it in that room if our dog doesnt like it.. plus the walls are panel walls and totally ugly so he is going to make it sheetrock and I get to choose what color to paint it and I get a window AC/Heater... and thats only the begining.. plus I get to choose the carpet for that room... :confused3 we'll see what else he says I can do.. really the only thing that has him like grr but ill do it is the puppy and the back door.. but he said he will go around the front at night and stuff and he was going to recarpet and redo the walls and paint so the only thing i am really "getting out of it" is chooseing the color and the carpet... i dunno.. but like I said I am a little more at ease about it because I know that its the only option.. i dont know if that makes sense... but...

ONE MONTH TILL MY BIRTHDAY!!!and I will PM everyone my new address that had my old one.. anyone who wants my new one to send me pretty cards just ask! :lmao: ;)

Are you going to pimp out the address on other threads to get more cards? :rotfl:

I understand you being at ease. It's always stressful making a big change especially if you have a choice of big changes to make. You just had someone else narrow your choices down for you. How is your throat by the way?

Here are the blackberries from my garden

JPEG013.jpg

I would love to have some berry bushes in my yard. I think the wildlife would eat them all though. We have squirrels, chipmunks, bunnies and racoons. We even have deer and ducks in our fenced in backyard sometimes. We aren't really in a rural area either. :confused3

Yeah!! Someone is going to post my card on the DIS!!! I feel like I'm finally getting PUBLISHED!!!! :lmao:

Oh, was I supposed to post mine? Sorry, I will scan it right away! :rotfl:

We got married in November to take advantage of all the pretty fall colors for pics...:thumbsup2

We were engaged Oct 11, 1997 at my best friend's sister's wedding at the reception

We were like sister..me and my best friend. always at each other house every weekend,...so her sister was like my sister......so they didn't mind at all when dh asked ahead of time if it was okay, as he didn't want to steal their thunder

That was nice. When my cousin got married her SIL's BF asked her to marry him the night before the wedding and then announced it at their reception. My cousin was TICKED OFF! No, he didn't ask first which probably would have been a totally different situation.
