Hello to all.

Sorry I went AWOL for a while. We got my son's endoscopy results back and they were a mixed bag. I'm making appointments for a whole new round of testing for him now. We're all well, hope everyone here is well too.

The pictures are in the old photo albums that I haven't found yet. They are put away ina rubbermaid container out in the shed and buried behind tons of Christmas containers. I'll find them eventually and show you the pics. Promise!!!

Thanks! And it continues on today and now I assume that is how I'll be spending my birthday tomorrow as well as the entire weekend. At least my girlfriends from work (when I did work) are taking me to lunch tomorrow. I'm sooooo looking forward to that!

I thought it was just me! Glad you and Trentmom agree. I thought it was a little much and as far as checking them, they should be able to shower properly and maybe she can check their hands, ears and fingernails but other than that they should be able to handle it. If she can't shower with them she makes them go together and wash each other's backs and check each other. I think it's all a little weird!

My leg ITCHES!!!! but I won't scratch it...I picked up some poison ivy and it is taking forever to go away...I've been putting Caladryl on it...someone said I need to wash it with lye soap...not even sure where to get lye soap.

Take a bath in Aveeno oatmeal bath. Just soak in it and that will relieve some of the itching! Sorry you have poison ivy, that must be awful!!!!

Well it seems you are going to Clearlake but it sounds like you and Dad made a lot of compromises so that is good. It will all work out for the best I am sure. You can go visit too whenever you want so go with a good attitude and make the best of it. We are all hear for you if yu need to talk!

Hens and Chicks

What's cool about this is I bought it in 2005 (year DD was born) and it was just a Hen (one 'pointy ball' in the center). Then it got a bunch of chicks (all the pointy balls around it). Then in 2006 all the little chicks grew up and became hens themselves.

Then in early 2007, the 2nd hens became chicks. Then about 2-3 wks ago it started shooting these tubes up and they became flowers!!

What a neat plant!!! Does it take a lot of care???

its still the 5th over on this side of the country!

ONE MONTH TILL MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!​

ok so I know that I posted that I was NOT going to Clearlake but turns out I have to but I am a little more at ease about it because I know Josh's parents said no.. they dont think it would be a good idea for me to move in there because they already have his uncle living there (and I didnt know that).. so I am going to be moving to Clearlake... but dad and I are making "compromises" on what I get when we get up there.. the room that I am getting is narrow.. but long.. but he was going to cut it in half making the bedroom part that I would get about the size of a bathroom... reason he was going to cut it in half and put up a wall was because the backdoor is in that room.. well he isnt going to do it now as long as he has free range to walk thru there to the backyard during the day when I am not home or not in the room and if I am he is going to knock to go thru.. but you can go out the front door and just walk around to the back.. the backyard is the same as the front yard.. lol! and I get a puppy.. as long as its small and I keep it in that room if our dog doesnt like it.. plus the walls are panel walls and totally ugly so he is going to make it sheetrock and I get to choose what color to paint it and I get a window AC/Heater... and thats only the begining.. plus I get to choose the carpet for that room... we'll see what else he says I can do.. really the only thing that has him like grr but ill do it is the puppy and the back door.. but he said he will go around the front at night and stuff and he was going to recarpet and redo the walls and paint so the only thing i am really "getting out of it" is chooseing the color and the carpet... i dunno.. but like I said I am a little more at ease about it because I know that its the only option.. i dont know if that makes sense... but...

In our area this is like the perfect plant. I keep it outside all year round and just water (less than normal plants since it is in the cactus/succulent family).

It's also very easy to transplant and divide. To divide you just snip off a chick and put it in soil.
