~ The Real Housewives of Orange County ~ Season 12~ 2017 ~ JULY 10th

It's the curse of the vow re-newal. I don't know many people that have doen it, but the ones that have are now divorced.

As far as reality TV people, Vicky and Don and Kate and Jon Gosselin.

Reality TV seems to be breaking up a lot of families, or maybe highlights the situations and makes them worse?

I was going to post this too! I'm really sorry to read it. Thanks for posting~

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Vicki Gunvalson's Son On Her Divorce: 'I Don't Think They've Been Happy For AWHILE

http://www.radaronline.com/exclusiv...sons-son-her-divorce-i-dont-think-theyve-been

In the wake of yet another fallen marriage in the lives of the Real Housewives, O.C. Housewives star Vicki Gunvalson has filed for divorce from her husband after 15 years of marriage.

Vicki's son Michael, who has also appeared on the hit Bravo reality show, spoke exclusively with RadarOnline.com about how the family is doing and gave his perspective on his mother's rocky relationship with his stepfather, which was often caught on camera.

"Everyone's doing ok. I mean, my mom and Donn haven't been spending much time together," Michael said. "They're just not really enjoying each others company anymore. So it doesn't really bother me.

"I don't really get into their relationship too much, but I don't think they've been happy for a while."

Michael, 24, said with his mother's busy work schedule as the head of her own insurance company - Coto Insurance & Financial Services - and filming the show for five seasons, it has taken its toll on the marriage.

"She's got a lot going on and trying to keep busy at work and do her thing.

"I think it's for the best and they don't really enjoy spending time with each other anymore and my mom's always gone and traveling and Donn deserves someone who's going to be at home and she deserves someone that's going to support what she does," said Michael.

As of now, the couple is still living under the same roof, and when asked if Vicki has already moved on, Michael said 'No, absolutely not."

"It's been a couple days so she's upset about it. But things will be okay."

This isn't the first marital meltdown for the famous female faces of reality TV - Vicki's BFF and co-star Tamra Barney has been going through a bitter divorce since last year, Cat Ommanney of the D.C. franchise has been estranged from her husband since May; and Atlanta's Nene Leakes is contemplating the status of her marriage during this season.

Michael said Bravo has been filming in the O.C. all summer for season 6, but whether or not fans will see Vicki and Donn split-up on the small screen is up in the air.

"I really don't know. I kind of do my own thing. I'm not really home that often, he said. "My mom's always gone and I don't really just want to be home with Donn, I go do stuff with my friends. He's home alone a lot, he's just not happy and she's not happy so whatever my mom wants to do I support."

But Michael assures their marriage in the spotlight wasn't the reason for the break-up.

"I don't really think so, they had issues when I was a little kid and stuff and they just worked them out."

Michael said he and his sister Brianna, 21, support their mom and want her to find happiness.

"Donn was always the stepfather kind of figure," he said. "We just want my mom to be happy."

I was just going to say that! Wow! I thought they were doing better. I guess her and Tamara can become BFF's again. haha.

I wouldn't be surprised if maybe Tamra's divorce gave Vicki the encouragement to also file for divorce ... they were BFF's for awhile and didn't Simon even blame Vicki somewhat for the trouble in his marriage? ... so maybe when Vicki saw how happy Tamra's been since leaving Simon, she decided she should do the same ... just a thought ...

And I'm also wondering, does anyone think maybe Jeana will get together with Donn now? ... I always kinda thought that she may be attracted to him ...

I always thought Donn and Jeana would be good together. But not really sure she would go there, that seems wrong. Although she deserves someone nice and so does he. They both seem really easy going.

Didn't Jeana & Vicki have some falling out last season and then they made up? ... I think it was over Vicki's rental property or Jeana had asked to borrow money from Vicki and she said no? ... so I'm kinda thinking that Jeana may not have a problem going for Donn, if she is interested ... I actually think they may even make a good match ...

Vicki posted on her Facebook page:

Donn has been an important part of my life and he will continue to be. Anyone who has gone through a divorce understands that this is a personal matter and a difficult time in our lives. Therefore we ask that you please respect our privacy at this time. I would also like to thank all of you for the outpouring of love and support that we have received.

she treated him awfull....he should find someone who is good to him.I always felt bad for him watching them onscreen...

I am shocked about Vicki and Don. They did seem to have difficulty together but the ring Don got at the vow renewal seemed to indicate that Vicki really wanted him in her life.

I still don't know when it started going south for Tamra and her husband, Simon. I mean, did stuff happen off screen that we weren't filled in on? I just saw an old housewives where they were on the yacht celebrating Tamra's 40th birthday and they seemed so happy.

I'll tell you what I think. I don't like Tamra first son and I think he drove a wedge between Simon and Tamra. But the change in their relationship was palpable.

One word: money. Tamra was willing to put up with Simon and the control when the money was coming in. When the income stopped he got insecure and she was ready to move on.

kind of the same thing happening with nene. she talks of how their relationship went south when her dh stopped bringing in the kind of money he had before and was around the house more.

i kind of wonder if in these relationships that involve single struggling mom's (which both women have said they were prior to their current marriages) marrying "wealthy/successful" men wherein they always seem to be "doing and going" (costly vacations, social events, entertaining, socializing) if it is not until the money runs out, and they are forced to actual spend time together (without the fun distractions), that they realy get to know their spouse/are forced to reccognize that what was previously a minor annoyance is a set in stone personality trait they just can't live with.

did they marry the man, or did they marry the lifestyle (and absent it the man is something they can do without)?

I've noticed that many of the women on these shows seem to be happier at the beginning of the series, but as time goes on, their personal relationships suffer. I don't know if it is the fame, recognition, the reality of being on a reality show... who knows. I honestly don't know why anyone would sign up to be a part of it. Just my opinion!

I think that when a struggling single mom marries a wealthy guy, the woman often gives up control in order to have hhe lifestyle. In Tamras case she didn't work and ran the household how her husband wanted. Simon is an insecure person and used money to gain control. When the money is gone and the female can now have some way to support themselves due to a reality show, the balance of power has shifted and the marriage falls apart. Nene is no exception to this either. I wonder if Lynne finds herself in this situation as well.

Oh boy, I'm sure Bravo loved every bit of this too because as the article said the "cameras were running" ... so when this finally "airs", I bet the ratings are going to huge ... and I admit, I will be watching too ;) ...

anyhoo ... why the heck would Tamra even try to serve Jeana a "cease & desist letter" at a party anyway and not just let her lawyer handle it? ... oh, I know why, because everything Tamra does or says is for the camera and just so calculated ... she is just so predictable and classless  ...

So I guess Jeana will be back for this coming season then. My memory is bad...but she wasn't really on last season, right?
